My Self-Summary
I'm the boy next door. If he had brain cancer. Yes, I really do have brain cancer. If you're worried/curious/disgusted, talk to me. I'm open about it, and here to help.

I was diagnosed when I was 19 with a brain tumor the size of a tennis ball that had been growing for 3 years. I got surgery and treatment and so far things are looking (relatively) good. The cancer isn't spreading, but it probably will at which point I'll get chemo and everything should be fine after that.

Also, I have Synesthesia. Not the cool kind with sounds and colors... it's a little more boring, but also more rare. It's ordinal linguistic personification, which is a fancy way of saying that I think of numbers and letters as having personalities. Genders, traits, relationships, etc.

I've thought that way for 20 years and didn't realize until just recently that it's unusual.

I am copacetic, jaunty, and verbose

This past year I had yet another growth removed from my brain. There were actually a few up there, but this one was growing and needed to be dealt with; apparently my mind is fertile ground. Thankfully, it wasn't the cancer spreading.

I was released barely 3 days after the surgery, that's how badass I am, and this is a video a week later:

What I’m doing with my life
Writing it away.

Oh, I also go to school, work, and.. uh.. yeah, not a lot.

I'm very politically interested and somewhat politically active. I'm totally liberal and was a delegate for Barack Obama to the Democratic State Convention.

I'm very interested in science and biology and physics and evolution and such. I'm not an expert, but I like reading and talking about stuff. I'm very excited about the Large Hadron Collider.

If you doubt evolution please message me to explain why, I'm very curious and try to do my part to undo the miseducation and propaganda that gets spread.

I’m really good at
Writing. Listening. Being honest. Walking on stilts. Debating. Kissing. Scrabble... seriously, I will crush you, and I don't need a bingo to do it.

I'm also awesome at making obscure references, references so obscure you won't know whether to feel impressed or pity.

The first things people usually notice about me
I'm so nice!

Oh, and cute... nice and cute... and short... nice and cute and short.

Occasionally people notice my eyes. They can get pretty green sometimes.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Randomosities. My mind wanders, my thoughts drift, I go off on tangents and then stop to eat. I don't sleep much.

On a typical Friday night I am
Writing. But that's a typical Friday night. I have been known to be a Bounder of Adventure. Leaping from tree to tree, with my best girlie by my side, I'll sing.. sing.. sing.. Okay, so I'm not a lumberjack, but I could be... if I wanted.

I'll go out, and I'm always up for a road trip of some kind.
