My self-summary Propose an edit

I'm not a party person. I don't smoke or drink or do casual hookups. I read a lot of books. I listen to a lot of music. I like small groups of people over large ones. I'm very shy but also very communicative when I feel comfortable around someone.

I make music. I love a lot of punk rock and metal and electronic and acoustic and who knows what else and I just kind of throw it all together and try to make it work.

I think life is beautiful, but sometimes it is very difficult to see it all the time. I try to search it out... whether in various forms of media or out there in the real world.

I like Star Wars and video games and other nerdy things. And I probably will my whole life.

There seems to be two paths of accepted adulthood. You either A. move past supposedly childish things into adult things like making money and discussing politics or you B. move past supposedly childish things into adult things like getting drunk at bars and having sex with many people. Or you try to juggle both. But neither are quite what I want out of my adult life.

What I'm doing with my life Propose an edit

Working in computers. Making websites and music on the side. Reading books. I don't know if this counts as "doing" something with a life. There is probably more I want to be doing, but I haven't quite figured that out yet.

Saying I'm good at making music. Whether it is true or not, I really don't know. At least I can listen to my music and honestly say it doesn't sound like everything else out there. If that is a good thing or not remains to be seen.

On a side note, there is a part of me that knows that girls who are into the same music as me have to exist, I just never seem to meet them. So if you are, I probably want to talk to you. If you're not that is fine as well, I'm not a music snob.

Probably wondering how people seem to have so much energy on a friday night after a week of work. Saturday night is better for me. Saturday day is probably even better.

Sometimes I read profiles and girls are like oh hey, I love traveling the world and exploring the city and I think hmm... sometimes I wish I could be like that, but I don't... quite... have the energy. So I guess if you are looking for someone to go from one crazy adventure to the next with, I might not be the best match.

And another...

Jeans and t-shirt girls get me hot. I sort of try to accept girls being girls, but a lot of makeup and fashion stuff seems rather silly to me.
