My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm proud of my sense of humor, creativity, compassion, and my loyalty to friends and family. When ever I'm asked whats my favorite (fill in the blank) . I usually tell people I like diversity. I want to try new things and flavors and comparing and contrasting those experiences is part of the fun in life.
I scrape by as a starving artist. Just stepped out into the real world and started looking for work as a video editor. But I do it making a living off what I studied in college, so I'm proud of that, getting paid for my creativity.
I grew up in a small town environment in the foothills of California. I loved the area but was excited to move out. Went to college in San Francisco. Got my BA and recently my MFA studying movies.
I'm a big geek. Interested in some of the most geekiest stuff out there. Big fan of movies and games. I like people who are geeks even if I'm not interested in the same thing. I like to surround myself with people who let themselves get taking up by things they are passionate about.
I also like to surround myself and make friends with creative people. Be it hobbyists or people who are trying to make a living from it.

Physical Description
I have brown hair and a beard. My eyes are blue. I'm some place between 6'3 and 6'4. I weigh 240 pounds.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Currently I am working as a freelance editor. I will edit what I need to in order to get by but I'm working towards editing narrative(fictional movies) pieces both short and feature length movies. I also do some screen writing in order to produce my own projects and I also help out when I can with a film festival.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I am good at making movies. Particularly at editing. I am a creative story teller and I am proud of that fact. But not to proud. I'm still learning and I believe I will be for the rest of my life.

I am a good friend. If I am in a relationship I want the person that I am dating to be a friend of mine.

I have a good sense of humor. I will admit that it's not for all audiences but my friends and a good amount of strangers I meet seem to like it. So i'll probably stick with it.

I am open for adventure. I like new experiences and I like sharing those experiences with others. I am constantly looking to make stories out of my own life.

I am good at being optimistic. I try really hard at not letting the turmoils of life beat me down. I do what I can to smile, make a joke about the bad situation, and move on.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I would like to say its my eyes or my sense of wonder but usually its.
"Dam, your tall."
Not ideal but its the truth.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
As mentioned above I like diversity. I like all different types of genres and food. I like the intellectual stuff and I like the trash stuff. But for the sake of fun I will pretend I'm making some recommendations to a friend.

books my two favorite contemporary authors.
Chuck Palahnuik (to laugh, to filp your lid, to show how far a creative author can take you.)
Christopher Moore ( to laugh and not take life seriously. Also creative fun in his own right)

Coen Brothers Films ( awesome film makers, writers, and editors. Great sense of dark comedy. Films that will make you think. Top choice easily.)
and on the complete opposite side of the spectrum
Broken Lizard Films (Dick and fart jokes. Silly silly stuff. Movies that you could put in and watch over and over. Defiantly not thinking when these are on.)

Check out Devil Makes Three and Deltron 3030. Also the big time nerd in me wants to do a shout out to MC Chris. He raps about Boba Fett. Can you get any more street cred?

Try everything at least once! The good the bad the weird and the spicy!
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My friends and family. We could live hundreds and hundreds and miles apart but knowing that they are my friends and family and they are there if I need them gives me alot of strength.

Also coffee is high up there too.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
My future.
My past.
My friends and family.
My choices I have to make.
The choices that I have made.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
It changes alot. I do what I need to do. If I need to work hard on a Friday night I am working hard. If I need to go out, see a band, and play hard. I will do that too. I am also not against a chill night of relaxing and doing marathon nights with a t.v. show.
I am in flux but I will say that I do enjoy spending time with people if I can make it happen.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I am constantly concerned if friends and people I am dating are enjoying my company and if people are happy with my work.

But really do it if you want to. I enjoy some random chit chat.
