I'm here to meet new friends and expand the world I live in with new relationships and experiences. I am extremely loyal once you get in my friends group. It will take work to get there, but I can promise it will be worth it in the end. I am the first to express an opinion, but love having people explain their own points of view, even if I don't always agree. I am strong willed, and extremely stubborn, but if I do something stupid I wont hesitate to admit it. I'm a pretty loud person once I'm in my comfort zone, with the occasional moments of being in my own head, completely spaced out.

I spend way too much time on the internet looking up new bands, interesting people, and new books. Whenever I'm not online, I'm usually hanging out with friends, or off reading some novel or another. When I have the time I usually go through a couple of books a week.

As for romance, I'm not particularly looking for a mate, but I love to go have fun with new people and who knows what can come from that. I'm insanely attracted to extremely tall (6'4"+), bearded (or at least goatee'd) men, and metal bi girls/ spunky lesbians.

I am currently a student at the University of Cincinnati majoring in Psychology and minoring in Women's Studies. I'm also taking classes to earn a certificate to council domestic violence victims. I want to work at a Women Helping Women or someplace like that, or if I'm feeling ambitious enough, go to grad school for my PhD to council teenage girls.

Eventually I would love to travel and then settle down somewhere it rains often, and open up a cafe/bookstore with an apartment above it to live in (along with two little gray kittens and a Native American Indian dog).

I read constantly, am obsessed with music, am a psych major, and have worked at Blockbuster off and on... combine that with being friendly, and I'm pretty good at holding conversations about any of the above, or about Women's studies, GLBT studies, and several other topics.

I'm also a pretty good cook.

I kick ass at Mario Kart and Guilty Gear X2.

I'm a bit of a bookworm- I always have a book with me. I have freakishly long legs. I usually have my ipod on listening to some band or another.

So I love to read- books, comics, poems, etc. Some of my favorite authors include Elizabeth Wurtzel, Sylvia Plath, Anne Sexton, Nathaniel Hawthorne, Jane Austen, Charlotte Brontë, and Vladimir Nabokov. Some titles I've enjoyed are: The Bell Jar, Bloodletting, The Crucible, Foxfire, Jane Eyre, Lolita, The Mayfair Witches, Memoirs of a Geisha, Pride And Prejudice, Prozac Nation, Rose Madder, Salem Falls, The Scarlet Letter, Siddhartha, The Virgin Suicides, and Witch Child.

Some favorite movies of mine include Pan's Labyrinth, Atonement, The Orphanage, Ginger Snaps, Old Boy, and 28 Days Later. I'm a sucker for horror movies, especially Asian horror and zombie flicks. Muwahahaha.
Some favorite TV Shows include Buffy, Clean House, Daria, Dexter, Leverage, Firefly, Veronica Mars, and The Simpsons.

I'm insanely into metal and riot grrrl music. Mostly viking metal, but also power metal, and recently black metal and death metal. Some favorite bands include: Finntroll, Agalloch, Folkearth, Amon Amarth, Ensiferum, Borknagar, Bal-Sagoth, Bathory, At the Gates, Einherjer, Dethklok, Tyr, Turisas, Elvenking, Moonsorrow, Midnattsol, Lumsk, Dimmu Borgir, Norther, Verbal Deception, Nile, UneXpect, Marduk, Aborted, High on Fire, Children of Bodom, Opeth, Deicide, In Flames, Iron Maiden, Symphony X, Imperia, Epica, 3 Inches of Blood, Nightwish, Manowar, To-Mera, Kamelot, Ozzy Osbourne, Blind Guardian, Iced Earth, Sonata Arctica, Stratovarious, Judas Priest, and SoaD.
Some non-metal bands include Flogging Molly, THE DOLLYROTS, Bikini Kill, Garbage, Flyleaf, Sleater-Kinney, Bruce Springsteen, Lou Reed, Porcupine Tree, Dream Theater, and musicals (of which my favorite is The Phantom of the Opera).

I'm strangely attracted to Bam Margera.

I am, guiltily, an anime dork. Not Otaku, though. My favorites include Elfen Lied, Skip Beat, Vampire Knight, Samurai X, Akira, Toradora, Princess Mononoke, and Spirited Away.
