I am creativicious, sardonicastic, and an intelligentleman.
My Self-Summary
Like most people, I'm a study in opposites:
I tend to be cerebral, but I exercise frequently;
I can be deadly serious, but I often make people laugh (and enjoy
doing so);
I am an
artist, but
I am deeply involved with
science and
technology;
I am deeply involved with science and technology, but I hate my
cell phone;
I am thoughtful and sensitive, but I'm sometimes logical to a
fault;
I'm a lean guy, but I love to eat and cook.
I like quiet pastimes, mostly: juggling explosives and frozen nuns,
reading,
cooking, forging
art,
museums, strange disturbing
movies, full-contact golf. I
currently think the coolest phrase in the English language is
"Chinese Repeating Crossbow", and I'm trying to build one from
plans I found on the internet.
Oh, and I liking making shit up. Some call this
creativity.
What I’m doing with my life
Acquiring new skills in visual communication. Digital drawing,
painting, animating. Sculpting. Taking care of my home, my doggies,
helping out my family and friends where I can. Rebuilding myself
and my social network.
Recently, I've written a couple children's books, titled "Horton
Hires a Ho" and "Bi-Curious George", but no one seems to want to
publish them.
I’m really good at
At work, turning other people's VI needs into workable, elegant
solutions.
I take good care of Winston and Cookie, who I refer to
alternatively as my children from a past relationship, and the
Beasts. (They are dogs, not children, so don't bother calling DSS)
CLICK HERE to see them when they wuz behbays. Also,
the whole doggy family (NOT ALL MINE!):
I also like sculpting - see some of them
here. The unpainted ones are less than an inch
high, the FFW/FWC ones are ~11".
I
exercise about
5 times a week; weights, yoga and cardio.
CLICK HERE ONLY if you want to see what I've done with
myself - No naughty bits, I PROMISE! I am proud of what I, a
bookish sorta-nerd with a sedentary job, have been able to do with
myself. I have strength, health and stamina.
Here are some of my older animations/simulations from work:

Here are some of my stone wall/masonry projects
here..
All by hand (mine), all dry-stack (no mortar). Some of them are 7
years without a stone falling out.
I have a wide range of interests and talents. I like to keep them a
secret so I can spring them on people at the most opportune
moments.
The first things people usually notice about me
My
iliac
furrow? Nah... ;-)
My head is shaved and I look annoyed. I'm really not, but what they
don't know...

The six things I could never do without
How about six things I could always do without?
1) Meetings with admin or HR
2) The last minute of "House" - you know, the weepy music video
bit?
3) Hypocrisy
4) Freezing rain
5) Kendra from "Girls Next Door" - ugh
6) Mandatory lists of arbitrary length
All right, cop-out. So here goes:
1) Rocks. I love rocks - boulders, stones, pebbles, whatever
2)
Lucid
dreams: I can fly & shoot lightning bolts - what can beat
THAT?
3) Something to make "drawrings" with/of
4)
Desire
5) The last 5 minutes of "House", minus the aforementioned weepy
crappy bit
6)
Sarcasm
I spend a lot of time thinking about
I think dyslexic dominatrixes could form a pretty formidable
political party, if only they could learn to untie.
In an alternate univers there is a healthy cereal product called
"Special KKK" that is marketed to mentally-challenged racists
(probably an oxymoron). Maybe somewhere else it's a healthy cereal
for people who stutter instead?
If the Little Mermaid caught an STD, it wouldn't necessarily be
crabs (that's waaay to easy) - it could be Hydrosyphilis.
Is it wrong that I can say "Thank You" in eight languages when I
can swear at you in nine?
Why are driving skills water soluble?
Why are boy's bikes designed with a crotch-crushing horizontal
support bar, whereas girl's bikes are of a gentle,
non-crotchcrushing design?
If knowledge is power, and power corrupts, doesn't that imply that
knowledge corrupts? And if THAT is true, and absolute power
corrupts absolutely, doesn't that mean that ABSOLUTE KNOWLEDGE
CORRUPTS ABSOLUTELY? What does that say about God, huh? Wait, I
hear thunder...
Does "Spooky Behavior at a Distance" mean that electron pairs are
monogamous?
Can the universe experience schadenfreude?
Is the
Flying Spaghetti
Monster actually
Cthulhu, and when enough
Pastafarians worship
him, will he walk the earth?
Did
General
Tsao ever fight
Colonel Sanders?
Who DID shoot the frickin' Deputy? I suspect the Sheriff.
Should you live "in the moment", even if it's only a
Planck
Moment?
Does
Ginko
Viagra help you remember what the F you were JUST going to do?
On a typical Friday night I am
Poker night with the geeks, hangin' out with the Mastiffs, putting
some piece of furniture together for someone, helping a friend move
a body or clean blood off a clown suit (My trick? Seltzer!). Booty
call, maybe? :P
It's all very random right now...
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I blush very easily, and very frequently.
You should message me if
Here I am - rock me like a hurricane.
Well. It seems to me, after quite a while of doing this dating
thing, that until you meet someone face-to-face, you don't know
anything. If there is no chemistry, no clever thing I said in my
profile is going to make F-all difference. And if there IS
chemistry, ditto.
What do you think?
