I am daring like sushi, easygoing/easyrider, and amusing, youll laugh.

My Self-Summary

I can't fold fitted sheets and it's really annoying because they just end up being a big fluffy mess. I like to sing in the car and I don't care if people can see or hear me. I'm really good at air guitar and air drums. I put my tshirts on hangers but they're not color coordinated. I think colloquialisms are very coo. I like to mix it up and be adventurous, change it up a bit. I save lives. I'm a teacher. There's no reason to be bored, ever. Born and raised in Oregon and been in the desert for three years now. I miss my family and friends back home but love the new friends and family I have made here. I do not miss the weather though, grey and rain for 9 months can be very depressing. Don't get me wrong though. I do love the occasional rainy days in the desert. Just occasionally. I am mostly a 4th grade teacher but like to work as a server in restaurants now and again. Live downtown and love it. I do miss Eugene every once and again however just when that feeling comes around I end up meeting some really cool people. Traveling is always a good time and one of my most favorite things to do. Being a teacher really allows for some good time to go places. Humor and laughing are very important to me. You have be able to find the comedy of life. I would say my friends are people who make me laugh and enjoy laughing themselves. The best thing in life is hanging out with the people you love and laughing til it hurts. A brilliant sunset is the best way to end a day of hard work and learning, unless it's 110 outside and you don't have a window that faces west. Personality goes a long way, especially if it's desirable.

What I’m doing with my life

Summer is now over and time to go back to the kids. I'm ready to be back in the classroom and excited for another year. Looking for opportunities that will further express myself. Opportunities are around every corner, you just have to look for them and then take advantage. Currently working to be the best I can be for my students. They are my life everyday, except Sundays and sometimes Saturdays. House hunting. I am trying to find inspiration to write some music and record it. I do find time to hang out with the friends and a visit here and again and time to read, and time for relaxing.

I’m really good at

Talking and listening. Reading. Music, playing and listening. Riding around on the bike. Hanging out. Kickin it ol' school. Watching life. Climbing trees. Skipping rocks. Jumping rope. Skateboarding. Snowboarding. Wakeboarding. Pretending I'm tightrope walking. you know, all the fun stuff. being me. being a friend you can count on no matter what. helping others.

The first things people usually notice about me

my eyes usually get all of the attention. They're blue like the ocean in the tropics. ha ha. No but really, my face? no, my eyes. When I was little, real little, people at the grocery store always thought I was a girl so I cut my eyelashes off with scissors when I was five. Mother was not happy with me.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books? Can't put favorites, usually like whatever it is I'm reading and i'm currently reading, couple of Bukowski books are in the mail as well as The amazing adventures of cavilier and clay, A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius (still), The Amber Spyglass, Brisingr, and a book that I'm pre-reading for my students.

Music? Everything under the sun if it sounds good to me. I have a very open musical taste. It's pretty much the same with the books, if I like it, I listen to it. Lately I have been into some Britpop, 90's hiphop, 80's and 90's, Beatles, MM, DCFC, Nouvelle Vague, Menomena, mew, The Cribs, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, LCD Soundsystem, MGMT, Junior Boys, Kate Nash to name a few. However the playlist is forever changing. Pandora pandora pandora.

Films? Love em'. They gots to be good and have a point but sometimes I enjoy the blockbusters when I don't feel like thinking too much.

Food is fabulous

The six things I could never do without

Music, Great food, Friends and fam, a book, fire, and a good conversation and swimming and...

I spend a lot of time thinking about

the odds and ends of things like life, justice, and pursuit of happiness. I don't know. Whatever it is I deem necessary to be thinking about. The thoughts are ever changing. Whatever sparks interest.

I spend a lot of time thinking about thinking

On a typical Friday night I am

ah the adventure begins, mustering up some energy after a long week at school to do something fun with those I love or nothing. sometimes just doing nothing on friday is great. it all depends on which way the wind is blowing.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I hate shaving.

I have a soft spot for romantic comedies.

I like to eat til it hurts then take a nap on a hammock under a warm moon lit night next to palm trees with a slight breeze from the west cooling my toes. jaja

You should message me if

you want to. you should. never know. we could be best friends. or if you like to have fun, i have a lot of fun.
