Let's see..I'm not ultra feminine, so I won't spend hours fussing with my make up or hair, although I do like dressing up. Won't make you watch "chick flicks" or Oprah, or spend horrendous amounts of time shopping. UNLESS..it's electronics, tools or gizmos, then the chances of driving you and the salespeople crazy are pretty good.

I love being with people.. meeting new people or going out with old friends. Or even better, I like going out with friends and meeting their friends. It doesn't matter what we do. Going out for coffee, dinner,the movies or dancingis great. Going out camping, night clubs or on 5 mile runs are not my thing (but if you run, I will be on the sidelines with water. for you) I love talking, learning different ideas and opinions. I am a Christian, with moderate political views. My areas of knowledge are literature and social scienced based. When I go out with my computer tech/engineering/ geek/conservative/liberal/ pagan/agnostic /vegan friends, the conversations are fascinating and challenging.

And yes, I am the kind of person who with initiate a conversation with total strangers in the checkout line at the grocery store.

I am loving but not romantic. Love- for my family, friends and (hopefully) that special person, I will be there for them, hug them, buy little just because gifts, write thinking of you notes and try always to end every conversation with "I love you."
Romance--is the overpriced, overused, sappy, commerical version of love. Why force someone to resort for buying flowers, cards, etc to prove they love you?

Speaking of romance, I realize this is a dating site. However, I'd like to get to know you first. If nothing else, at least we could meet a new friend. At best, we would be soulmates.

Writing (not spelling), sales (have done this for years), talking with people, making people laugh, just enjoying the little things in life.

The way I can have a conversation with strangers. I am outgoing and noisy and people just fascinate me.

Books-everything, well, almost (Cheap romances=hacking a hairball) Favorite authors (for now) are King, Koontz, Patterson. Going through a thriller phase. I love to read and enjoy discussing books.

Movies- not into chick flicks, teen comedies, or splatter flicks. Love comedies, sci fi, classics and the old B's (Godzilla, Dracula, the mummy)
(Did any of you watch Creature Feature when you were a kid?)

Music- fairly eclectic. I'll listen to any one's favorite music at least once and usually can find songs to like. (Except most Rap)

Food-COFFEE, sushi and Asian (this is a given, I'm 1/2 Asian) COFFEE Indian, Italian, did I mention COFFEE? Finding different restaurants is an adventure What better way to spend time with people, then experiencing new things?
