I'm a New York girl who came to live in California for a year. Well that was over 8 years ago. Somehow I got spoiled with the nice weather and not taking public transportation anymore (I ride my bike mostl) and I love it out here now. I like to do a lot of different things like salsa dancing, kayaking, softball, cooking, drinking good coffee, beer, and wine, and traveling. Ten months out of the year I teach elementary school. The other two I kick back and relax. I usually try to get out of the country for about a month each year to get a fresh perspective on things and it's worked nicely the last 4 summers. When I'm at home, I enjoy watching movies and sports--especially the Yankees, cooking good food, and having friends over. I enjoy going to bars or clubs sometimes, but I don't really consider myself a partier. Well that's about it for now I guess.

taking an overnight bus to a brand new place, arriving, taking a showing, getting a cup of coffee, grabbing a map, and hitting the city sights.

Music: The Cure, the Ramones, The Smiths, Joan Jett, Fleetwood Mac, Tom Petty, Hector LaVoe, Marc Anthony (mostly 80s and salsa)

Food: Just about anything--I love trying new food

in no particular order: coffee, chocolate, friends, sex, music, and good food

where I'm going to travel to next--Costa Rica and Belize? India and Tibet? Australia? SO many places, so little time.

Depends on the night. I could be at happy hour, have friends over for dinner, be out dancing, going to a movie, or watching one at home.

If you like to go out and do a variety of things and can also stay at home and relax sometimes too.
