My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I think back to the halcyon dates of my youth, when indeterminate Hessians had something to do with the Revolutionary War, where conjugate priors were monks who had broken their vows, and the expression (X'X)^-1(X'Y) was Greek.

Those were simpler times

As a basic summary: I am geeky, adventurous, and reliable, with a deep and abiding love for spectacle in its own right.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I work at a silly little company called Akamai Technologies where I am a happy, carefree member of the InfoSec team. I spend a lot of time helping figure out how to protect the Internet against various types of attacks.

I'm starting to "nest" in Natick center and currently conducting an elaborate experiment to determine whether a dog person can be a good cat owner.

I tend to fill my spare time with cooking, reading, and the occasional bridge match. I keep meaning to take a real vacation (I’m think of going to Myanmar before people like me ruin it for the rest of us)
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Academia, travel, food, and spectacle...

I'm a faculty brat. Grew up on a college campus. Classrooms have always felt like home and I always love learning new stuff.

I'm great traveling companion (Always have a positive attitude, no matter how bad the food poisoning). With this said and done, travel should not involve beaches, umbrella drinks, cruise ships, and the like.

I'm a major foodie. (Good cook, regular at Aka Bistro, Top Chef addict, currently practicing for an amateur Iron Chef battle with one of my co-workers)

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Of shoes and ships and sealing wax, / Of cabbages and kings, / And why the sea is boiling hot, / And whether pigs have wings
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?

You have practical experienced in making yogurt from raw milk (cause I just spent a couple days wasting a lot of good product).
