My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I love being surprised by people and things. In a seemingly ordinary situation, I usually notice the one bizarre thing that makes it hilarious.

I'm equal parts curious and artistic. One of my favorite things to do is walk, bike or drive around and get lost until I find something cool or bizarre. This can be both terrifying and inspiring. You will rarely see me without a sketchbook.

I'm pretty small, but strong for my size. I have a lot of really tall friends who call me a freak of nature. Also, my friends are amazing. I've been lucky to tether my balloon to some of the best people on earth. My favorite people are both scholarly and silly.

For you Myers-Briggs fanatics, I'm an ENTP, or "The Inventor"...which apparently makes me the same personality type as Sirius Black.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
By day, I'm a freelance designer working on establishing my own business. I have one big client that gives me enough projects to stay busy, but I usually have a few smaller clients on the side.

By night I'm Batman.

Actually, I've been tackling a lot of goals this year. I've paid off a big chunk of my student loans. I just got my open water scuba certification and my motorcycle license. I'm working out the next steps now...getting my act together to get a masters degree, violin lessons, and learning to speak French properly.

I have a sport that I'm very passionate about...but I'm not going to tell you what it is until I know you better. Not that I don't like talking about it, but I'd rather talk about the other aspects of my life first. A hundred points if you can guess what it is, though.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Doing things that scare me, and having good results. Opening a beer bottle with another beer bottle. Getting up early. Going to bed late. Being hungry. Innocent pranks. Making faces at babies. Wordplay. Re-upholstering furniture with a staple gun.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
"You seem taller than you are"

Also, some people tend to think I look like Princess Leia.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Hot showers
A body of water
My sketchbook
Laughing at things I notice with other people who notice them. (This happens a lot.)
Freedom (That sounds weirdly patriotic, but all it means is that I value my ability to be spontaneous and independent.)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game. bar concepts. Like a swim-up bar that serves alcoholic snow cones. Or an Olympics themed bar that constantly plays old Olympic footage in the background, without the annoying commentary.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Working on my side career as a professional beer pong commentator.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
One time I went to the Alamo Drafthouse 80s singalong on five consecutive Saturdays.

I'm seeing someone now. :) Be my friend?

I'm interested in connecting with other creatives who want to inspire and be inspired by others.

I adore scholarly people with a big silly side. A genuine interest in the arts will make me adore you even more. If you also love being outdoors, I'll adore you the most.
