Not obsessed with taking credit for how great I am. An okay cook. Well above average at adding numbers in my head... average at subtracting. Zombie apocalypse naysayer. Werewelf apocalypse yaysayer. Smart. Astounding lover. Reader of things written. Knower of opinions and facts. Looker at images of things.

I'm working a lot now with the hope that in a year or so I'll be either editing the novel I wrote a few years ago or shopping it to agents/publishers. I used to do stand up comedy in the area, but I'm focusing on other things now. I try to work out a couple of times per week. I spend a lot of time sitting at a desk so it feels good to burn the energy and allows me to eat like I'm still in college without dying from congestive heart failure. Almost all of my friends are married, coupled up, or nuts, so when I go out I'm usually solo.

writing, talking, analyzing, over-analyzing, making people laugh. I cook a bit. Nothing gourmet, but it'll taste good. I'm not big on following recipes, I have more fun when I'm just throwing things together.

Some people think I'm very serious before they get to know me. Then, they find out I practically sweat sarcasm.

Favorite books: The Road, The Sun Also Rises, The Great Gatsby... anything by Cormac McCarthy, Hunter S. Thompson, Other favorites Gabriel Garcia Marquez, William S. Burroughs, Jeffrey Eugenides.
Movies: um... Fight Club, American Beauty, Dr. Strangelove, In Bruge, Inception, The Dark Knight Returns... of course, Zoolander, Blazing Saddles, Airplane, The Shining for starters
Music: Always looking for good new music. I'm still into the Yeah, Yeah, Yeahs; Arcade Fire. Special place in my heart for old real punk... the real punk bands. If I hear a line from Punk Rock Girl, I basically have to sing the whole song. Tom Waits, John Coltraine, David Bowie.
TV: Breaking Bad, Walking Dead, Justified, Archer, Family Guy, Adult Swim on Cartoon Network are a guilty pleasure. I have a schadenfreudic love of Jungle Gold. It's a symphony of horrible life decisions. I GUARANTEE you it will make you feel better about yourself no matter how bad your day has gone. I'm serious.

Pens, composition books to write in, some good books, good music, good food.

Virtually anything and everything... my mind wanders a lot. I like knowing the answers to things, how stuff works, causes for effects, etc.

Ask anything I'll probably answer it honestly. I'm not that guarded. I spent a year standing onstage getting strangers to laugh at the parts of myself that I used to consider horribly embarrassing. After that, I don't sweat that stuff any more.
