I'm an easy going guy, and I don't get bugged by the little things. I'm quick to let things in the past go, and one of my favorite quotes is: "the past is old as gone, the future is yet to come...live for the day."
I'm not a party person, just not my thing.
When it comes to music I prefer classic rock (AC/DC, Styx, Foreigner, Led Zepplin...) and select modern pop/rock (Hinder, etc), however I do have a fairly wide taste and have a large variety of genres on my iPod. Recently I've also gotten into CCM (Fireflight, Icon For Hire, etc). Finally I dig some interesting video-game music mashups like Lindsey Stirling and other techno/trance.
I tend to enjoy over-the-top type humor.
One thing that really bugs me is improper grammar...I'm a bit of a grammar Nazi, and I completely know it. At least use capitals and punctuation sometimes...
I have several friends who have met people online and are in long-term relationships and so I thought I'd give it a try since I work full time. Speaking of work, I am a numismatist (a coin collector/dealer if you will) working for Fortune 500 company. That said, I travel for work but pretty much love every day of it. The best part of my position is that I'm in complete control of my future with the company; they've laid out a 5 year plan for me and I plan to exceed those expectations and look forward to unlimited earning potential, which has already led to me getting an awesome new car. I plan on staying in California for a good long time because of my career, but certainly want to travel as much as work allows me to. I'm also in the [extremely] early stages of writing a book (on a particular facet of my work)--that is, I'm mostly doing research right now in my spare time and jotting down ideas as they come to me, but I hope to have enough compiled in another year or so to actually start a draft.
I'm looking for a woman who has a plan for her life. Someone who is ambitious and adventurous. It's important to me to find someone who enjoys staying in and being cozy as much as going out and trying something new. I'm really looking for a best friend who I look forward to sharing my life with, the ups and the downs. Think you fit the bill?
