My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
By day, I work as a first grade teacher. I wake up excited to go to work and am incredibly passionate about what I do. Ask me to tell you some funny stories, I've got plenty. By night, I'm cooking up a storm, running, or meeting a friend for dinner. As a native Californian, I grew up watching the Warriors (Go Dubs!) and I tend to try to put avocado on everything. I've also been told that I make a mean guacamole.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I have the pleasure of working in an awesome profession where I get to geek out over education. My friends and I also switch off hosting a weekly potluck group. It's Top Chef meets BevMo specials with a splash of distinct San Francisco flair.

On weekends, I'm usually out on a hike, trying to be weekend warrior (it's tough living in the Bay Area), or planning my next travel adventure. I just went to Iceland!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
motivating myself to exercise, listening, retelling stories with animated hand gestures, and taming my wild curls.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I use my hands when I talk- I've been known to accidentally knock drinks off tables!
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
A great book; my family and friends; art; my running shoes; my French press, avocados
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
lesson planning, travel plans for the summer, if I was traveling when the Warriors won the championship, does that mean I need to be gone at the same time next year?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
As a commuter, I often try to get back to the city on time for happy hour. I usually make it about fifty percent of the time.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I once misspelled my name at Peets...I was really tired.
