I am fiery, funny, and friendly.

My Self-Summary

I'm from Australia. I also lived in the UK for a while, but got a little tired of seeing grey skies for fifty weeks a year. Oh, and also pubs closing at midnight.

I love New York because it has so much to offer, and I enjoy taking advantage of it. When I have time (emphasis on when), I hang out with friends, explore the streets of the city, play chess at Washington Square Park, sing late night karaoke, write or perform comedy, play sport (basketball/soccer/rugby), learn to cook a new dish, strum on my guitar, visit a museum, attend a live music performance ...

I am often found laughing at myself or at a situation and if you are not into laughing then you will probably find yourself bored. Or annoyed. More likely annoyed.

What I’m doing with my life

I'm a bit of a nerd. I work as a computer forensics analyst. Kind of like a computer hacker - but for the good guys.

I travel a lot. Adventures that stick out include: hiking to Mt. Everest Base Camp in Tibet, snowboarding in the Swiss Alps, camping on the Inca trail in Peru.

I’m really good at

Making people smile.

The first things people usually notice about me

My Australian accent.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

I love sashimi, but I'll eat anything (with the exception of liver).

The six things I could never do without

Six? Why six? I'm not complaining, but six is such an arbitrary number. (Notice that is my way of avoiding the question ... purely out of procrastination. But hey, at least I let you know).

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Travelling. Or 'traveling' as you Americans write it.

I also spend a lot of time thinking about jokes - both good and bad jokes - although you might need to hear a couple of bad ones to get to the good ones.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I can't swim. Yes, yes I know - I'm from Australia and I'm supposed to be able to. The funny thing is I'm a licensed SCUBA diver. I can explain that story later ...
