Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I own and manage a farm in Old Snowmass, and also run a non-profit
called the Open Mind Project (openmindproject.org). I cook. I
irrigate fields, I grow veggies and make kimchee, killer apple pies
as well. I've sort of already done the settling down thing, now
looking for somebody cool to share it with. I suppose I'm looking
for that special lady who is as comfortable working in a garden as
being lazy watching movies, yet is also ready to head to New York
or SF and see plays, visit museums, or go on an adventure in India.
My life is pretty mellow these days, not looking for a party
animal. I'm a bit eccentric, and can be a pain in the ass. I'm good
with kids. I don't have any of my own, but would like to be a dad,
and head that direction with my life, so I'm not looking for hook
ups (not that I don't put out). This may be some sort of bottom,
but I'm considering signing up for farmersonly.com, could be an
ominous sign, and I'm afraid I might not find the intellectual with
a passion for saving the world I might be looking for on there, but
who knows? I'll settle for a tennis player with a good heart. Or at
least the good heart part. Honesty is important to me, so if you
are full of shit, well you probably wouldn't be honest about it
anyways. Basically, I'm a catch.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Pretty much trying to do my part to save the world.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
scuba diving, being pretty good at tennis and ultimate frisbee,
hiking, reading, thinking, skiing, improvisational cooking.
The first things people usually notice about me

Come on, really? How is a person supposed to know what the first
things other people notice about them is? Have you ever actually
asked anyone this question? I suppose if I was someone else, the
first things I would notice about me are my smile and laugh, they
usually don't stay hidden long.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Great Expectations and most Dickens except for David
Copperfield, the Electric Cool Aid Acid Test, The Dao De Ching,
pretty much anything written by Vonnegut. Movies: Bottle Rocket,
the Royal Tenenbaums, and most Wes Anderson stuff, Ferris Buellers'
Day Off, the Hours, Groundhog Day, I "Heart" Huckabees. Music:
Culture, Israel Vibration, New Order, Lee Perry, and sometimes I do
love some Willie Nelson. I DJ'd for a couple of years on a college
radio station, so there is also plenty of interesting, strange,
underground music to get lost in once in awhile when I need a break
from the roots.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Hiking, Books, Trees, Friends, Hope, Dreams.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
what poor myths we are living in; how to improve them.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Depends on the Friday. Live music is usually a good one.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Once after pretty much telling my whole life story to a
psychiatrist, and I mean I told him the meaning of life and
everything, and I thought he was sitting there scribbling detailed
notes on my profundity onto his little notepad; I happened to
glance down on my way out and saw that all he had written down were
four words: "Moved around a lot." Se la vie.

you have a good heart, are honest, and caring, (and I know that
sounds sappy). But seriously, if you are a good person, then say
hello. Oh, and if you play tennis that's a double super bonus.
