My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm always creating, striving for improvement. I enjoy researching a myriad of subjects to become a more whole and thoughtful artist.

I have trouble making small talk, but once I get on an interesting topic I can become quite animated.

I feel very strongly about lgbtq issues and equality in general.

In spite of my crazed hippy, artistic leanings, I tend to be a logical, reason based thought automaton.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working on my portfolio and my webcomic. I'm networking as much as I can.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Being self-deprecating, but let's give this a go.

Intuiting other's emotional states. I can sense excitement or discomfort like spider-man senses danger. (Spiderman is awesome.)

Experimenting in the kitchen with only periodic catastrophe.

http://ynotart2.tumblr.com/ That's my art blog. Looking at it is probably a lot better than me trying to explain the kind of art I do.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I wear my hair in a bun, which provides endless wonderment to strangers. :p
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: I Read a lot. I don't have any life changing experiences, but there are a few books that made my imagination run wild or made me think and those are the one I like best. Some highlights are the Mistborn Trilogy, Firestarter, The Genocidal Healer, Hard-Boiled Wonderland and The End of the World, Good Omens and the Wheel of Time Series.

Movies: All things including Bill Murray, Jackie Chan or Christopher Walken. Things Directed by Wes Anderson, Tim Burton or Hayao Miyazaki. I recently started watching Jimmy Stewart movies and I now know why so many people liked him. I'm a real sucker for good fight Choreography and I love watching old kunfu movies because they don't try to hide the combat with flashy effects. I watch a lot of foreign films too. Off the top of my head Pan's Labyrinth, Amelie, Seven Samurai and an incredibly old film simply called 'M'.

I also like a lot of disney movies. Not so much the classics, but more along the lines of Mulan, Hercules and Atlantis. I like animated things in General. Up was a big hit on my list and I really liked How to Train your Dragon. I watch my share of anime as well. As mentioned before Miyazaki , but also stuff like Cowboy Bebop or Ghost in a Shell.

Music: I like all sorts of stuff from musicals to metal. So I'll just name several. St. Vincent, Fiona Apple, System of a Down, Yoko Kanno, Flogging Molly, Gogol Bordello, The Dresden Dolls, Muse, Trans Siberian Orchestra, Foo Fighters, Stone Temple Pilots, Airborne Toxic Event, MC Frontsalot, Caro Emerald and Regina Spektor
I really like getting music recommendations, so feel free to suggest something if you think I'd be interested.

Food: I love to cook and enjoy so many different types of food and I'm constantly on the look out for new recipes. That being said it's really hard to pick favorites. Some are chorizo, chile rellenos, braciole, tofu, sushi, soy chum, banh mi, salmon, pesto, hummus, pineapple, mango, mashed butternut squash, and garlic cooked in anyway on anything.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Something to draw with
Small fuzzy creatures to gawk at
A kitchen
Thought provoking or imaginative books
Fresh fruits and vegetables
Music
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I'm creating my own universe that my comic book, short stories and of course D&D adventures take place in. So sometimes I think about some strange things when I daydream.

The evolution of fashion, language, gender or just plain biology and how they are affected by climate, societal structure, industrialization, self awareness, multiculturalism, etc.

How perception affects our thoughts and how understanding can change and alter our social constructs.

I also think about how to make dwarves and elves look weirder and how to design game mechanics.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Drawing and painting. I'm focused on cultivating my art career right now and it means most of my days off are working to get ready for a show or on commissions.

But I do make time for dancing, holding game nights or elegant dinner parties, going out for a movie, or looking for something new to try.
You should message me if
