I like to walk. It gives me the time to think about what I'm seeing
and change directions if I find something interesting. I like to
cook ... although I must admit that I've never met a recipe I could
actually follow. Well almost never. There is a flan so heavenly I
wouldn't dare change it for fear my disregard would tip the cosmic
I like being active and truly enjoy when I'm exhausted at the end
of the day. Not every day mind you. Just those select ones where
time weather and company permit.
Lately photography intrigues me. It might be because I can't take a
picture worth showing to myself but it's more likely that I like to

I am calm, somehwat funny, and dyslexic
What I’m doing with my life
I'm in the middle of a career change that, with enough luck, will
allow me to do what I truly love to do: dig in dirt, think about
why I might want to dig in dirt and - ultimately -talk about why my

I’m really good at
Finding things, listening, and improvising when the unexpected
My motto for this question is "Improvise and have fun".
The first things people usually notice about me

obscure artist/scientist/explorer/etc. I love films but haven’t
been to one in ages. One of my - as yet unfulfilled desires - is to
take a vacation to a film festival. Part of the fun will be in
choosing which one to attend. Any suggestions?
My musical tastes change with ?? Right now I've been listening to
the Be Good Tanyas, Arve Henriksen and whatever the band that lives
in the house next door wants to play at the time.
The six things I could never do without
Never? Food, water and shelter (x2).
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Okay enough already with the questions! I made an innocent misstep
when I started my journey on this site in the in the Questions
section. By the time I'd reached 30 or so I looked around the
web-page to see what I'd fallen into. Over 3000 questions
My variation of this question.
I spend a lot of time admiring
the ways in which people are good.
On a typical Friday night I am
I'm either out with friends or off in another world of words.
In case you're curious, many of them look quite a bit like this
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
While not private, many of my friends might be surprised to learn
that: 1) the poetry section is usually the first place I go when I
visit a second hand bookstore and 2) I like to iron.
