My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm an east coast gal who grew up in Maryland, went to school in Boston and I've been in New York ever since. As an avid foodie, I love to travel around the world looking for the next coveted morsel, whether it be Morocco, Indonesia or Iceland. I'm all about having passions in life and a few of mine include basketball, dance and of course food...picture Jackie Moon sans the back hair. I'm looking for someone athletic and well read, who enjoys life and most importantly who doesn't take themselves too seriously.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Trying to find the perfect work/life balance like many in Manhattan. Wondering if there are any kindred spirits out there.

I recently started taking improv classes, next up are martial arts classes. Life is all about learning and finding/fueling your passions.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
team sports for some reason, maybe because I play well with others? Or it could be all the pent up aggression =P
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm very straightforward and I don't mince words. If you expect a subservient, docile Asian girl, watch out! I also look a lot younger than my age, thanks Mom and Dad!

Non-fiction feeds the mind but fiction feeds the soul. There's a great TED talk by Mac Barnett on the topic. I read like most people watch TV. I have a ton of childhood favs including ender's game, phillip pullman's dark material series and other sci fi fantasy classics. Roald Dahl's children's novels are great too...anyone else think his adult stories are a bit creepy though? Latest favs are probably the history of love, words of radiance, Bossypants as well as mary karr's bios.

Movies include Memento, the Professional and Mean Girls among many others

TV: series ever

Music: Old school R&B and anything I can dance to
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
I think I can pretty much live without anything. I'm not one to get attached to material things.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Nature vs Nurture. Whether innate curiosity is really innate and whether passionate people are born or bred.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
unwinding from the work week with bikram and some good food
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I hate putting on makeup and have only recently started wearing anything out of fear that my girlfriends will beat me up if I don't
