I'm a geek. Or a nerd. I love movies, books, comics, games, and good food. In fact, I love cooking. If it wasn't clear already, I like too many things, I don't have time for everything. Including writing a decent self-summary.

Soy el típico sabelotodo. Mis aficiones incluyen el cine, los libros, los comics, los videojuegos y el buen comer. Me gusta cocinar, pero no suelo tener tiempo. De hecho, no tengo tiempo para la mitad de las cosas que quisiera hacer.

I am protean, open-minded, and curious

Trying to find out who I am, and what I should be doing with my life. But in the end letting the flow take me wherever it will.

Learning. Adapting. Finding solutions to problems.

I am very opinionated, and curious - I like to talk about everything. Sometimes far too much. I have been told that I would improve a lot if I just learned when to shut up. I am also the kind of person who corrects grammar errors when other people speak, so don't say I didn't warn you.

I love variety, and I don't like to play favorites. But I will list a few:

(A): I enjoy science fiction and fantasy, specially Philip K. Dick, H.P. Lovecraft, Tolkien, but also less known authors such as Ursula K. Le Guinor Stanislav Lem or Jorge Luis Borges. I enjoy comics, specially those by Alan Moore and Neil Gaiman. But I also enjoy the classics, like Allan Poe, Franz Kafka, Dostoevsky, Miguel de Cervantes or Quevedo.

(B): Some favorites, in no particular order: Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Gattaca, Grave of the Fireflies, Corpse Bride, Fargo, Groundhog Day, The Life of Brian, Dark Crystal, Labyrinth, Yojimbo, The Incredibles, Brazil, Casablanca, Pulp Fiction, Dr. Strangelove, The Professional, Some Like It Hot, Unforgiven...

(C): I have eclectic tastes, some samples from the CD stack: PJ Harvey, Björk, Diana Krall, John Coltrane, Rachmaninov, Mussorgsky, Led Zeppelin, Chris Cornell, Franz Ferdinand, Stevie Wonder, The Chemical Brothers, Massive Attack.

(D): Almost everything, so long as the ingredients and the cook are good, but I tend to favour pasta and spicy food. I am not much of a sweet tooth, though I love dark chocolate, and I make cookies and cakes... when I have the time. As for national varieties: Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Italian, Greek...

New experiences and new things to learn. Family and friends. Good food and sleep.

I wish I could find the mute button sometimes, and have some peace and quiet, though.

At the movies. Or reading a book. Or playing a game.

People matter far more to me than I let them know.
