My self-summary
I spent a good portion of my life exercising my imagination growing up as an only child. With my free time I would paint, draw, write stories, make short films with my dads VHS camera, and watched an unhealthy amount of television.

Music has had a long sexual and romantic relationship with me since I discovered I can play bass and guitar. As a teenager I started a punk rock band and toured most of the east coast playing bars, vfw's, parties and art shows. When I was twenty I moved to San Francisco because of its thriving music scene and formed a new band. We toured the state and were signed to an indie label but I wanted to focus on my education and left the band.

Anything relating to phenomena that are apparently inexplicable by natural laws such as psychics, shamans, ufos, mystics, and the paranormal hold my interest. There was a period in my life were I was obsessed with reading books on quantum mechanics to comprehend the meaning of alternate realties/dimensions that mainstream science has difficulty explaining using the rational constructs of current understanding of reality. I wanted to expierence alternate realties for myself, which are often described when you enter altered states of consciousness. After taking a world religions class in college I was connected to a shaman through my professor and explored these worlds.

I worked closely with with a cult director Lloyd Kaufman in New York City to earn my independent filmmaking chops. Soon I discovered I belonged on the west coast and left my home planet in Connecticut which I will never return to.

I love comedy, comedians, and generally people who are comfortable with being wildly unreasonable, illogical, or inappropriate. I like to act absurd to try and make people laugh and also use verbal play to create fictional scenes.

Physical activity is extremely valuable to me so I practice vinyasa yoga, run, and work out when I have free time.
What I’m doing with my life
Filmmaking is the study of human nature and I have dedicated my life to exploring it. I studied creative writing and cinema at San Francisco State University. Since graduating I have been focusing on my career directing and writing narrative and documentary films. Although, music will always be apart of my life and I still play guitar attempting become a virtuoso before I'm thirty.

I learned everything I needed to know about life and filmmaking from working with a cult director named Lloyd Kaufman in New York City.
