I've spent much of the last few years ascending the Ivory Tower. Having recently summited the second rampart (an M.A. in the humanities), I gazed up at the vats of boiling oil being poured down upon me, decided to fashion my diploma into a makeshift hangglider and leapt.
Currently working at a left-leaning political nonprofit, looking at lots of opinion polls and trying to divine some sense out of them. Finding out interesting things like what percentage of Americans think they are morally superior (most), and what items people would bring on a time traveling adventure (guns, condoms, and antibiotics). Sometimes I try to make pie charts.
Before that I was briefly working as an interpreter of dreams and amanuensis of prophecy. Mainly drawing visions of the Ibis headed god Thoth and creating Powerpoint presentations detailing the secret power of pyramids. Craigslist etc jobs yields some interesting results.
Trying to use my powers for good.
I take breaks to go outside, sing, play piano, and interact with persons neither fictional nor deceased.
Riding bikes up hills

Remembering (useless?) facts and geographical data
Making burritos (breakfast or otherwise)
Playing R. Kelly's Ignition remix on piano (fairly mediocre at most other compositions, though my Springsteen/Taylor Swift mashup has met with modestly positive critical responses)
Using parentheses (apparently)
Possibly also my teal shoes matching my teal backpack, if in a locale in which a jewfro is not out of the ordinary.
My chariot, last of the great silver volvo station wagons that once roamed these lands in vast herds.
