I've been physically apart from my husband for a year now and am recently divorced but our marriage really ended for me about 2 years ago. I realize the "recently divorced" part may scare some people off but I can assure you that I'm not angry or bitter and am mostly free of any baggage and my life is fairly drama free. I'm not desperate or the clingy type and I don't "need" a man to make me happy. I'm perfectly satisfied with my life right now- my girls and I are healthy and happy.

With that said, I do miss certain things about being in a relationship like holding hands and kissing. I'd like to have someone to go to movies with once in a while or just rent movies with and hang out on the couch or maybe even someone who will have a few drinks with me and play Rockband or some other game. I'm not a big fan of the bar scene.

Although I don't mind dressing up once in a while, I'm most comfortable in jeans and casual attire.

I enjoy bowling (although I'm really terrible at it), taking walks, swimming, amusuemnt parks and movies. I don't have an artistic bone in my body but very much enjoy going to art exhibits, live music or watching just about any type of dance. I'm an animal lover and often take my kids to different zoos. The gorilla's are always my favorite! I like video games but also enjoy playing board games.

I have a few tattoos and will probably get more. I had my nose and tongue pierced but removed them due to my current job but am likely to get one or both re-done once I'm in a job where they're allowed.

Working- my first job in 14 years. I was an at home mom until January of this year and I LOVED it. Even though I HATE wearing khaki pants to work every day and I'm not crazy about my job I do very much enjoy being around other adults and just being able to meet so many new people.

Spending time with my girls.

Basically I'm just enjoying life and always looking for a new adventure!

Playing Scrabble but most of my friends refuse to play with me anymore.

I'm a very good listener and I've been told I give pretty good advice as well- but I'm not pushy with the advice and I'm still able to be supportive even when you don't take my advice!

School- my mom and some of my friends tease me about being a "professional student" because I've majored in so many different things. I really just enjoy learning about anything and everything I can.

Being a mom- I'd like to think so anyway.

I don't know. I guess I've been told my eyes.

Maybe that I'm fairly shy at first but I do warm up quickly.

Books: I love reading and am usually most interested in true crime stories. "The Devil's Knot" by Mara Leveritt was my favorite. Free the West Memphis 3! I've recently been reading a lot of Karin Slaughter's thriller/crime fiction novels lately as well.

Movies: Marley & Me, Zack and Miri Make a Porno, Napoleon Dynamite, Borat, Bruno, Urban Cowboy, Office Space, The Full Monty, Saw, The Strangers, Paranormal Activity, Nightmare Before Christmas, Secret Window, The Ring, The Silence of the Lambs, Meet Joe Black.

TV: Sadly I'm a reality TV junkie. I also enjoy Ghost Hunters, Ghost Whisperer, Paranormal State, most anything on the Travel Channel, CSI, Cold Case Files, The Forgotten, 48 Hours Mystery and Criminal Minds.

Music: Too many to list

Food: I'm kind of a picky eater. Pizza, burgers and steaks are my favorite.

I usually work until 10:30 on Friday nights but I love going to a midnight movie afterwards or heading home to the couch to watch a dvd or have a few drinks and play Rockband.

I went to Peoria to seethe Riverdance Farewell performance a couple years ago with my mom. I wasn't sure I was going to like it but I really, really did. My friends tease me about this!

I go to Moline, Il every year to see the Dancing With the Stars live tour and have to spend the big $ for a table seat. I even insist on staying at the same hotel the performers are staying at.

I sometimes find glasses on a guy very sexy- the nerdier the better.

You don't wear Khaki's and Polo shirts all the time! Tattoos, Piercings, crazy hair cuts/styles or even wild hair colors are a plus although not a requirement. Pretty much If you want to get to know me better you should probably send a message.
