I am tallish, bookish, and Jewish-ish.

My Self-Summary

I recently moved to Hollywood after being born in the Inland Empire, spending a few years in Orange County, and a year in South Korea. I spend more time reading and watching movies than I guess is average. I'm working on some film projects. I write.

What I’m doing with my life

Videography. Mostly for web. Quickly switching batteries. Capturing and logging.

Down the line I want to make the movies I've written.

I’m really good at

If I say I have good grammar then I'll end up with a bunch of typos in my profile.

The first things people usually notice about me

Strangers tell me I look like Dustin Diamond. Yes, they tell me I look like the guy who played Screech Powers, the most notoriously obnoxious loser of our generation. They do at least say I look like a less ugly version of him.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books: When I was in jr. high and high school I thought scifi authors like Asimov and H.G. Wells were "LITERATURE" of the highest order, so I still have a taste for really unhip authors like Arthur C. Clarke and Orson Scott Card. I also read a lot of Philip Roth and Milan Kundera. Movies: I watch everything. I most especially like movies that are 2 or more of the following: political, funny and science fiction-y. So that means Dr. Stangelove, District 9, Children of Men, Men in Black, Ghostbusters, Back to the Future, They Live. Music: A few things I like: Beirut, The Long Winters, Jens Lekman, The Dismemberment Plan, and anything Jack White does.

The six things I could never do without

List of 6 tangible things (I'm not going to say "My awesome friends!" or "Love!") 1. Lox 2. Sauconys 3. Campari 4. Second-Run Movie Theaters 5. Burritos 6. A Lot of Coffee

I spend a lot of time thinking about

potential sandwich ideas.

On a typical Friday night I am

I like to go out to bars and restaurants and spend too much money on good drinks and food. I like parties at other people's houses more than I like the anonymous crowds of silhouettes at nightclubs. I meet people more often at cafes during the day than when I'm out late at night.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I'm not willing to admit "private" things here.

You should message me if

You're not a spambot. And DON'T message me if you never go outdoors without heels, heavy makeup, and perfume. I probably prefer your height, face and smell without those things.
