What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm out of school and work for a software company, but I'm also trying to figure out who I am exactly. You could also say computers and electronics are a hobby as well as film, literature, and attempting to build things despite having no knowledge of carpentry :)
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Listening to people, learning something new, and memorizing/recalling esoteric information. I also absorb useless bits of history like a sponge.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I believe a person can be known by looking into their eyes.

I love the art of film, I am a big fan of the work of Kevin Smith (Clerks, Chasing Amy, Dogma), Luc Besson (Nikita, The Professional, The Fifth Element), and Martin Scorsese (Raging Bull, Casino, The Departed).

I am also a fan of 'old school' directors such as Fritz Lang (M, Metropolis), Alfred Hitchcock (Strangers on a Train, Lifeboat), Orson Welles (You must see Touch of Evil), and Max Ophuls (The Earrings of Madame de..., The Reckless Moment).

Some of my other favorite movies include:

The Shawshank Redemption, Memento, Oldboy, The Thin Red Line, Battle Royale, Falling Down, Suicide Kings, Face/Off, The Funeral, Man on Fire, 28 Days Later, Millions, King of New York, Mean Guns, Swimming with Sharks, Office Space, Zoolander, Meet the Parents

I read frequently but mostly its technical information or news/analysis. (I also a fan of if you know what Mystery Science Theater 3000 (MST3K)is check out the site). Currently I am reading a book called The Last Ship (which is quite morbid as I am finding out 9/13) and more recently I finished up Red Storm Rising. When I do sit down to read a novel it is usually of the spy or political variety, although I do enjoy a good biography from time to time (please if you have any suggestions or a piece you are fond of shoot me an email, if only for the suggestion). I was actually reading someone else's page and it reminded me of my fondness for Kurt Vonnegut's Mother Night and Slaughterhouse-Five (especially the excellent Mother Night film adaptation by Keith Gordon). Wow after I read this myself I realized I need to read more lol.

I enjoy a diverse variety of music from Louis Armstrong (jazz)to Blink 182 (punk) to Rachmaninoff (classical). My favorite band of all time is Goldfinger followed closely by Garbage, Green Day, and The Cranberries (bet you didn't see that coming lol).

I also enjoy the work of the following:

Blink 182,Portishead,Save Ferris,Massive Attack,Morcheeba,Blonde Redhead,Placebo,Sneaker Pimps, The Ataris,Apocalyptica,Ash,Green Day,Mia,Mighty Mighty Bosstones,Franz Ferdinand,Artic Monkeys,Snow Patrol,Sum 41 Operation Ivy,Tori Amos,Thursday,Social Distortion,From Autumn to Ashes,Foo Fighters

Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

I do like some roller coasters but I have never ridden any of the 'big and bad' ones like the Steel Phantom... does this make sense? lol
