I have a good sense of humor and want the same in a partner. I keep myself in good shape by eating healthy and substitute teaching spinning, yoga, pilates and aqua fit. I retired in March from my career in the newspaper business. I have been a chamber of commerce president and severed on the non-profit boards. The boys and I have done volunteer work for Habitat for Humanity, Christmas in April, and various soup kitchens. I was also a volunteer for the YMCA by teaching fitness classes before work and I am a member of their corporate board of directors.
It only takes one connection. I am looking for my best friend and lover. We will share the rest of my life exploring and experiencing everything life has to offer. There is so much I haven't done and so many things I do that would be great to share with that special person. I like to dance but I need someone to help me improve my skills (skills may not be the right word - more like basic movement). Two months ago, I began taking line dance lessons since I don't need a partner. I am affectionate and romantic. I will help you make every day, the best day of your life.
I have been listening to a book on CD called "Love for No Reason". Like the book, "Seven Habits of Highly Effective People", it provides habits or life style recommendations which require us to develop to achieve the long term happiness in a relationship. The love for no reason or the unconditional love we have or had with our parents and kids.
The list of my interests (above) continues to grow as I continue to grow. I am open to just about anything.
I really hope to hear from you so I can get off this website and spend time with you.
Once we commit to each other, you will be number 1 in my life.
