I am a singer/musician, a belly dancer, a poet, writer, indie music enthusiast. I like to dance, I love the city, I love food. I like going to shows. I am open-minded, laid-back, and optimistic.

What I'm doing with my life Propose an edit

I was an English/creative writing major, so I'm working on getting a job in editing, but most of my time these days in this current economy is spent in my room writing/recording music, playing at open mics, acquiring instruments, etc. I sing, play the guitar, omnichord, and melodica. My sound is pretty folky, but I'm trying to challenge myself and start a rock band in addition to my solo project which will hopefully reflect more of the music I listen to and admire the most.

My dreams are to run away to new york city and start a music career there, do various things for money like teach belly dance, publish collections of poetry, work at the poetry brothel, maybe edit for a publication for stability.
