My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am a recently widowed 53 year old guy who made a corny promise to his wife to get on with my life after she was gone. So that's what I am doing. I moved out here from New Hampshire because I needed a change of scenery and a new start. I have been married or living with someone since I was 25 and am looking to change that lifestyle. I am financially comfortable, so I am not looking for a sugar mama or someone who needs a sugar daddy. I simply want to find someone that I can date and have fun with. I have an abnormal sense of humor and taste in music. If you want to find out more, drop me a line. I enjoy drama and games. I hate long walks on the beach.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Right now, I am living alone in the Springs. Not working because I am not bored enough yet. Trying to get myself back into shape after years of being in "married" shape.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Talking. Someone once said I could talk the balls off a Rhinosaurus (bonus points if you find that phrase familiar). I've been told I'm kinda flirty, but I don't see it. I'm a good cook, which explains the extra pounds.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm always laughing. I believe it's what's kept me young. People are always shocked when I tell them how old I am.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Books - anything by Stephen King. He's my guilty pleasure. Also the classics. I love big spectacular movies like the kind that are shown in IMAX theaters. I also have a soft spot for indies, as long as they have an ending. Food, fuggedaboudit. Everything. Except that I have found as I get older some foods don't like me any more.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My five senses, my computer, my iphone, my sense of humor, my family, and a good laugh (but not necessarily in that order).
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How it's going to end and what it will be like after. I'm not religious, but I am somewhat spiritual. I like really deep philosophical thoughts like "If the universe is infinite and it is expanding, into what is it expanding?"
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Naked on the couch with a bag of Cheezy Poofs watching South Park. Actually, my couch is leather, and I would stick to it if that were true. I'm usually just sitting here by myself.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
There's not much I won't admit, but not in an open forum.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You want someone who will treat you how you deserve to be treated. Perhaps you've kissed a lot of frogs, or perhaps you've been in a bad relationship. I am truthful to a fault, and you should message me if you want someone with whom to share yourself.
