My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'll try to convey my personality in a nutshell here.

I have a serious side: I'm a singer-songwriter who writes mostly piano ballad type of songs that tend to be more on the sad end of the spectrum.

I have a goofy side: In contrast to the time of my music, I occasionally make comedy videos that feature extreme-cheeseball humor and seriously lame jokes. I mainly do this to amuse myself, but it seems to amuse some of my friends too.

I'm a gamer: Borderlands and Ratchet & Clank are my favorite series.

I like to dance: Although I do hate the gay bars in KC, so I usually save the dancing for my apartment or get a good upper-body-dance in while I wait at a stoplight.

I work out: I'm not a douchey tool about it. I do not call other guys "brah." I do not flex in every mirror. Only half of them. Kidding!

Kinda...

That's enough for this section.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm a Community Manager for a big tech company, which basically means I'm on Facebook and forums all day and I get to boss people around.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
As I said, I sing and write songs. I made it to the finals of this year's ArtsKC@Work competition. I was a Fringe Fest invitee, too!

I'm also a competent writer, but I'm not published beyond one of those lame poetry contests that publishes pretty much every entrant while then attempting to sell them books and whatnot.

I mentioned comedy earlier. But I won't mention it here. Hahahaha!
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My eyes or my smile. Now that I've been doing squats and lunges, I hope my butt gets added to that short list.

I'm kidding, now quit looking at my butt.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Books: "The Little Prince," my brother's as-yet-unpublished novel, the Andy Pandiferous eBook series.

Movies: Too many to name, including but not limited to: "Adam & Steve," "Minority Report," "Hanna," "Were the World Mine," "The Conjuring," etc...

TV: "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," "Strangers with Candy," "The Mindy Project," "Fringe," "Dexter," "Banshee," "Hannibal," "Game of Thrones," etc...

Music: Patrick Wolf, Darren Hayes, MsMr, OneRepublic, Carolina Liar, needtobreathe, Alanis Morissette, Metric, Bastille, etc...

I can't pick a favorite food because I'm a huge food lover. I CAN tell you that two dishes which have always been a big love of mine are curried squash soup and biscuits & chocolate gravy. I think that last one is a southern Missouri thing. People from that area know what I'm talking about, but everyone else just looks at me like I'm crazy. ("Chocolate gravy? What the...?!")
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. My dog
2. A piano or keyboard
3. A pen
4. A pad of paper
5. An imagination
6. A bed
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Song lyrics, life in general, and character/story ideas.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Playing video games at home or out having dinner with friends.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm an open book, for the most part. Ask, and ye shall (likely) receive.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You want to message someone but don't know who. Hahahahaha!

Or, you know, if you want to talk to me specifically.

Whichever.
