My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I like to solve problems and understand how everything works, down to the minor details. I love to build things for others to interact with, which luckily my job allows me to do!

I like to travel and go out, but am also a bit of a couch potato at heart. A good book, TV show, or an interesting conversation partner and I'm perfectly happy curling up on the couch with my cat on my shoulder.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I originally planned to continue the family legacy in medicine, but later shifted toward a different dream, moved to NJ, and finished my degree in Computer Science at Rutgers University.

My friend and I founded an online software company and are throwing our full effort toward its success.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Whether it's medical case studies, a science journal, or history, I can get lost in something and spend days reading about it. A side effect of this is that I occasionally know far more about some arbitrary topic than anyone expects.

I decompress after a long day of working by cooking dinner, and especially enjoy making food for others. People tell me I have a knack for it. Here's some French Onion Soup:
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
The last book I read was A Fighting Chance by Elizabeth Warren. Some of my favorites (from a variety of genres) are: The Selfish Gene, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Speaker for the Dead, A Song of Ice and Fire (series), Good Omens, Parkinson's Law. I also recently finished the first Discworld novel and am thinking of continuing with the series.

TV Shows: The West Wing, Star Trek, Stargate SG-1, Breaking Bad, Firefly, Futurama, House of Cards, Boston Legal, The Daily Show.

I also love British comedy series like Jeeves and Wooster, Blackadder, Yes Minister, etc.

Music: Everything from Yann Tiersen to Neil Young to Kaiser Chiefs to Dexys Midnight Runners to Led Zeppelin to Guns N' Roses to Franz Ferdinand and beyond.

Food: I enjoy a variety of things and enjoy cooking dishes from different cuisines. If it tastes good, I'm a fan.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My friends
Stimulating conversation
A good book or TV show
Great food
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Things that I probably can't have too much impact on. The world as it exists today and the kinds of changes that would make it a better place. The profound damage we're doing to the environment and animal/plant life as a result. I'd like to see global discourse get past debating obvious scientific fact at a fifth grade level.

But also what I'll be making for dinner.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Hanging out with friends, reading a good book, or possibly working on something that I just couldn't leave half finished.

You think we could have a good conversation. That's kind of critical and where it all begins.
