My self-summary
To most, I'm kinda boring as I tend to be involved in solitary activities such as running, cycling, reading, nature walking/hiking/trekking, photography, etc. Yes, they can be done in groups, but I somehow prefer doing them alone or sometimes, with just one or two other people.

I like bus gunzelling and love reddit.

I am quiet, intellectual, and different.

Mamihlapinatapai probably best describes me. Go Wiki its definition.

If you must know, I'm of a Chinese-Malay mix. I speak pretty much only English, though.
What I’m doing with my life
Dropped out of college, but now happily working as a software developer.

Ran my first marathon in 2009 and am now hooked on endurance running. Hoping to do my first sprint/olympic distance triathlon before I turn 35.

I'm pretty much low maintenance, so I tend to spend my money on backpacking trips around the world. So if you are looking for a backpacking buddy, I may be the one you are looking for.
I’m really good at
Supposedly computers, but I got bored of them, and that is why I dropped out of college. But while I was still in college, my research interest was in reconfigurable computing using Xilinx Virtex FPGA.

I'm also pretty good at navigating the world's streets via public transport. Right now, I'm familiar with the networks of Singapore and Sydney and a bit of Melbourne and Kuala Lumpur.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I read books, a lot of books, but they tend to be non-fiction. I love reading and, at times, collecting books about buses, trains and aeroplanes. I am foremost a bus gunzel - someone interested in spotting buses - and am particularly interested in bus-related reference materials such as route maps, timetables, street directories/maps and photo books, amongst others. Once in a while, I do read fiction and they are mostly books by Michael Crichton and Dean Koontz . Oh yes, I love gay fiction and am mostly reading them off themustardjar.com, nifty.org and crvboy.org

I rarely watch movies, but I do enjoy some low-budget artsy ones. The French make excellent gay-themed movies and I love them. Current French favourite is Juste une question d'amour, also known by it's English title Just a Question of Love.

My music tastes vary a lot, though I do enjoy exploring new music off emusic.com and jamendo.com . Once in a while, I find some really good and cheap/free music off these websites.
The six things I could never do without
Food

Water

Internet

Can't think of any others, except maybe clothes. I'm not much of a nudist, but am comfortable with my body so social nudity is fine with me.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The world being more accepting of people like me.
On a typical Friday night I am
Probably at home or maybe out running at East Coast Park or planning my next backpacking/overseas marathon/hiking/trekking trip. :)
I’m looking for
  • Guys who like guys
  • Ages 28–36
  • Located anywhere
  • Who are single
  • For new friends, long-term dating, short-term dating
You should message me if
You are a loner like me, takes things slow and methodologically and want something to do on Friday nights instead of staying at home.

You have similar interests/activities as me and want some companionship when carrying out those interests/activities.

You treasure keeping someone as a good friend rather than bedding them at the first meeting.
