My Self-Summary
I moved down to So. Pasadena and wrote educational games on a website for kids. The work was good, but sitting in an office was starting to drive me crazy after a year and a half.
I took classes at the Wilderness Awareness School in Duvall WA. I learned animal tracking and plant identification. I can start a fire by rubbing sticks together.
I moved back into the treehaus and started a garden. I used to write code now and then to make ends meet...but those bloody cocksniffers won't pay me.
What I’m doing with my life
I think it's worth noting that Diogenes lived in a barrel.
I have a 2 year goal of getting at least 25% of my calories from what I manage to grow, raise, forage, catch, or hunt.
I think rampant consumerism and US hegemony is coming to an end. Hallelujah! Do I believe we are on a precipice of a period of prolonged economic hardship as this shift happens? Yes. Could I be wrong? Yes. Would I like the quality of my life better even if I was wrong and I continued to garden, live in a small house, and consume less? Yes.
Lately I've been finding that digging in dirt is a fairly satisfying activity.
I’m really good at
Not dying...at least so far.

I don't like tripe and jellyfish...other than that, I'll probably eat it if I don't think it'll give me parasites or a bacterial infection.
