My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Left corporate America Sept. 2008 from my hometown of Ann Arbor Michigan to the central mountains of Idaho to write a book. Became a live-in caretaker to a disabled vet. No book produced, so moved on to an environment I believed would be conducive to writing.

Update Summer of 2013: Living off-grid in southeastern Arizona at the Mexico border. Moved to Tucson January 2014. As of Spring 2014, planning to move again.

In the meantime, as John Yeats said, I am certain of nothing but the holiness of the heart's affections and the truth of the imagination.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Staring into space, concocting plans and indulging visions
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Nurturing, hostess with the mostest, laughter, sensuality, listening, adapting, flexibility, understanding, appreciating, evaporating fear like mist in the sun
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Some have said they feel as though they have known me a long time after chatting only a minute. Others have said I am an "old soul," and very easy to talk to. Almost everyone says they love to see me smile and love to hear me laugh.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
So many! What do you have in mind?
Eclectic taste all around.
Variety is the spice of life.
Fresh food, served with love.

My favorite books are The Prophet, any book by Steven Harrison, Love You Forever, The Little Prince, Grimms Fairy Tales, and Rumi's poetry. I am always reading several books at a time, among them currently are Garden of Unknowable Things; Who, In Fact, You Really Are; and, my classic favorite, Hidden Language Codes. I LOVE books and am writing my own.

I LOVE movies and live performances! Some viewed recently that I love are Steel Toes, Adam's Apples, Peace Love & Misunderstanding, Garbage Warrior, Incendies, Lost in Yonkers, A Separation, The Girl Who Played With Fire, The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, The Girl Who Kicked The Hornet's Nest, As It Is In Heaven, Troubled Water, In Darkness, The First Grader, Of Gods and Men, The Human Experience, The Unknown Woman, The People Speak, The Guard . . . just sooooooo many that I love! I suppose I show favouritism to those that are about bridging our worlds, and the more drama and controversy, the better.

I LOVE music! Who Knows by Band of Gypsys (Live) plays often. I've been loving these a lot, too: Oh, Pretty Woman by John Mayall and the Bluesbreakers with Mick Taylor, Inherit the Wind by Bobby Womack, Smooth by Carlos Santana featuring Rob Thomas, Water by Eric Burdon, God Gave Me Everything by The Rolling Stones, and Lady Love by Robin Trower. Also, a lot of John Lee Hooker and Buddy Miles jams. I love thousands of tunes from all genres. I love soul, jazz, funk, R&B, rock. Also gospel, blues, classical, trance and foreign. Even some rap, country and opera. So much music, so little time.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Could never?!
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.

"Nature is content to be, knowing that everything is perfect and nothing can be better than perfection." ~ Maryann Rada

"For it was not into my ear you whispered, but into my heart. It was not my lips you kissed, but my soul.” ~ Judy Garland

"In love, sex doesn't demand anything because it has everything. In sex, love withholds nothing and receives everything." ~ Steven Harrison
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Non-typical like any other night.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
The cyber (sigh-burr) meat market is cold, imho. Everything I say in it is private. So, my entire profile is the most I am willing to admit here. Eye to eye (as in heart to heart) is another matter, where I am sure much more will be revealed. In any event, I am honest, open and willing.

I love the smell of Crayolas, the insides of any book, and gasoline.
I’m looking for
  • Straight guys only
  • Ages 60–99
  • Located anywhere
  • Who are single
  • For new friends

I don't should on people. That being said, I appreciate messages from men that have actually read at least some of my profile, and if our percentages are not favorable, at least you have looked at the "unacceptable answers" to determine if in fact YOU feel they are truly unacceptable.
