My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Attractive, mature, dominant, caring gentleman, with a fit body and agile mind, looking for a sweet and intelligent woman for a long-term relationship built on friendship, trust and mutual respect.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working as an independent engineering consultant. Other than that, enjoying the fine pleasures of life, and counting my blessings.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Scientific analysis, creative thinking, kissing, playing guitar and singing, and choosing ripe watermelons, but not necessarily in that order :)
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I cannot be sure, but I suppose it could be my smile, my eyes, or my brown complexion. No, I think almost definitely my eyes :)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I don't have one favorite book, but I'm reasonably well read, mostly in the sciences, medicine and philosophy. Two of the books that I enjoyed most, and I still reread them from time to time, are 1) Don Quixote, and, 2) Thus Spoke Zarathustra.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Family, health, financial security, good food, good wine, love.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
New ideas.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
... relaxing over a glass of quality red wine and good music.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I would love to have more kids. To me, the meaning of life is about continuity of survival, so what better way to contribute to survival than to have more children, while doing more for society to enhance our (humans and non-humans) odds of survival as we travel in time.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You are smart, sweet and caring, you have a good sense of humor, you enjoy intense intellectual conversations, and believe, as Paul McCartney wrote in a song, that "in the end, the love you take is equal to the love you make".
