Hi, I'm Zach. I grew up and went to school in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, lived in SF for the past year and a half, and just moved to Portland. Also, I like things.

I have a degree in Psychology, but I'm actually employed as a programmer. As of right now, I'm working for the Portland Trail Blazers — so far, it's been great.

Odds are pretty good I'd beat you at ping pong or basketball.

I read all the time, so I really can't list all of my favorite books. A few of them are: Oh the Places You'll Go!, The Green Mile, Jurassic Park, The Rainmaker, The Street Lawyer, Fight Club, $20 Per Gallon, The Elegant Universe, and Predictably Irrational. Feels like I've been more into non-fiction over the past year.

A few of my favorite movies: Memento, Good Will Hunting, Shawshank Redemption, Heat, Fantastic Mr. Fox, Cast Away, Up, and The Princess Bride (obviously the best 80's movie).

Some TV shows: Boardwalk Empire, The Office, Mad Men, Community, The Daily Show, Parks and Recreation, Family Guy, and reruns of Seinfeld. I tend to watch a decent amount of sports, too.

Since moving to Portland and starting the new job, Friday night mostly revolves around basketball games.
