My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a pretty normal person who has lived in Connecticut my entire life.

Even though I chose computer science as a major in college I still have a love for things like art and writing. I'll occasionally try to write a story or draw something, and even though what I did may be a piece of shit I still get something out of it. It's something that neither what I do for school or work can do for me. I guess you could say it fills a certain void in my life. I don't really know if that's weird or not.

Another thing I love to do is solving problems. It doesn't matter if it's something broken around the house or something that needs to get done at work. Generally if it's something that seems impossible to solve or get done I'll love working on trying to solve the problem, so if you have anything that seems impossible let me know!

Sometimes getting out of my comfort zone can be difficult, and at first I might dislike doing things I'm not used to, but there is something about doing things that you don't usually do or things that you thought you'd never consider doing. The awesome feeling of accomplishment when you do something you may have felt too afraid or embarrassed to do makes it all worth it.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Finishing up my degree in computer science at CCSU. I work part-time right now doing web development. It's not really something I see myself doing for long, but for now I can use it to build up my resume and get some experience.

I don't really know what I want to do after I graduate. I'm thinking of working somewhere and then working on getting a masters in business or something part time while I work so I can make more money.

Since it's my last semester before I graduate I think I might try to meet as many people as possible. I find people fascinating and I love talking to them, so I figure I might as well try meeting some interesting people.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I'm good at giving speeches, but I don't know if that's something anyone really cares about.

I'm good at staying calm, or falling to the ground laughing, when other people may panic.

I'm also good at being the guy you can talk to when shit gets real or when things may be going bad for you. I'm generally that friend. Sometimes it sucks, but I like helping out a friend who needs someone to talk to.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
A lot of people tell me that I'm tall when I meet them. I have family members that are taller than me though, so I feel short :(

I've also been told I have a deep voice, and I've been told it's "cool". Sometimes people like to pick on me and say I sound monotone even though I don't think I am.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Favorite Books: I love works by Lovecraft, The Great Gatsby, A Canticle for Leibowitz.

Favorite Movies: I watch a decent amount of movies, Scorsese has to be my favorite director with The Departed probably being my favorite film by him. I also love Tarantino's films, and I don't think I could rate them because I love each one I've seen. I like the Miyazaki films (specifically Princess Mononoke, Howl's Moving Castle, and Spirited Away). I think American History X and Fight Club were amazing and I love Edward Norton as an actor. Guardians of the Galaxy was my favorite Marvel movie thus far.

Favorite Shows: Game of Thrones. I am abusing netflix. House of Cards is one of the most amazing things I've ever seen. Orange is the New Black is also great. House, M.D. has to be one of the best shows I've watched. 30 Rock, Arrested Development, It's Always Sunny, Lost, The Walking Dead, Breaking Bad, Archer (Show is funny as hell), and Scrubs

Favorite Music: I enjoy good music of all genres. Classic Rock, Rap, Metal, Death Metal, Techno, Progressive Rock, etc. You name the genre I probably have a pandora station belonging to it. For specific artists I love Led Zeppelin, Journey, Boston, the Fratellis, Atmosphere, Brother Ali, Cage the Elephant, Gorillaz, Deadmau5, Daft Punk, Wolfgang Gartner, Eminem, CYNE, Childish Gambino, Devin Townsend, Behemoth, The Beatles, Yes, King Crimson, Pink Floyd, Simon and Garfunkel, ELP, ELO, the Yoshida Brothers, and the list can honestly go on forever.

Favorite Food: This is a tough question because I love good food, but then again who doesn't? For a meal I'd have to say a good burger, for a snack I'd say those Snyder's Buffalo Chicken Pretzels, and for a dessert I'd have to say strawberry rhubarb pie.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. Something to do - I hate being bored because I don't have anything to do. It's honestly the worst thing in the world to me.

2. People to talk to - I love talking to people. This is one of the most important things to me because of how I've come to realize how much I depend on talking to others. I feel like I'd go crazy if I didn't have anyone to talk to.

3. The Internet - I spend too much time on it, and I do web development so I'd be out of the job without it. Honestly it is one of the best things that has ever been created. From cat pictures to solving math problems it is truly an amazing thing.

4. Music - I love listening to music. When I'm doing school work, when I'm at work, when I'm relaxing, etc. I just feel like it makes getting through the day so much easier.

5. Video Games - I spend a lot of my time playing video games. I love playing them because of how fun they can be and because of how competitive I am.

6. My sense of taste - I enjoy trying new foods and drinks, so losing my sense of taste would make me incredibly sad.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What that billion dollar idea I have might be, and why it seems to be hiding from me.

Also science. I love science.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I guess this depends on my mood. Sometimes it can be hanging out with friends, and alcohol may or may not be involved. Sometimes I like a quiet night to myself watching movies or shows.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I play Magic: the Gathering, but I don't really like the people who are usually associated with the game and I feel like I'm nothing like them. This can make it hard to find people to play with sometimes.

If you find just hanging out and talking, maybe with some drinks in hand, to be a good night. I love talking to people, so that's pretty much an ideal activity for me.
