I am quirky, quick-witted, and quite friendly.

My Self-Summary

I'm a quiet but lovable geek who enjoys walking/bushwalking (both for exercise and the hell of it), dancing and reading online - but I'm more than willing to try anything once (or even twice). I enjoy skiing, but haven't had many chances recently. I also need to get a new profile photo.

What I’m doing with my life

Apart from trying to fill in online profiles, I'm taking full advantage of the fact that I get paid a fair bit to do something I enjoy to try to pay off the M-word as quickly as possible. I'm also planning to go overseas a bit, to see what else is out there.

I’m really good at

Anything to do with computers (hence geek). I'm also good at finding my way when lost (both in national parks and neighbourhoods with too many cul-de-sacs). I also think too much.

The first things people usually notice about me

I'm a bit quiet at first, but I'm extremely friendly once you get to know me. I also have been known to make people laugh.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Most recently I've been hooked on those Potter books - also I love the Hitchhiker's Guide books. I love Amélie and WALL-E, but also enjoy brainless action films like Die Hard (why don't they make movies like that anymore???). Also, House is awesome (apart from the fact that it's always either autoimmune or some extremely rare virus).

The six things I could never do without

Oxygen, drinking water, food, shelter and something to do (or at least something to read). And definitely my family/friends.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Everything - I think too much! Mainly trying to figure out how to solve work problems and the Israeli/Palestinian crisis while meeting the girl of my dreams.

On a typical Friday night I am

If I'm not having a couple of after-work drinks (usually at a nearby bar, but occasionally while still at work), I'll be at home unwinding reading.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

My cat's breath smells like cat food.
