My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I have been trying to figure out what exactly to put here that will get me some responses... I mean how exactly do I write down everything that makes me me...?

I am at the point in my life where I want to settle down and start a family, I not exactly looking to have any more children, unless of course I find the right person but that would be a few years in the future before that would really be an option for me. I have a 15 year old son, and he lives with me full time, the mother basically abandoned him and live somewhere on the other side of the country. I try to be a better father than what I had growing up, I would like to think I am succeeding in that. If you have children I am ok with one, two is pushing it, Three I would have to say sorry... It would take someone special for me to overlook the number of children they have... I do not hate children or anything like that...

I ride my bike, the kind you have to pedal, and I always push myself to ride faster and further. I also like to go on hikes, I have hiked quite a lot in the past but not so much in the past 1.5 years for reason I will talk about further down. I like doing pretty much anything that includes being outdoors...

I am not a material sort of person, if I have the necessities for survival I will be happy. I would give up all the technology we have today in a heart beat for a nice quiet life where we don't have all the distractions and can focus on what really matters, a family.

I do not like sports... I do not watch football, baseball or anything I find them boring. I am not really a TV person, granted I have a few shows I watch but that's maybe 2 hours a week... I do like to watch movies though...

I wear my heart on my sleeve, I am mostly always happy but I do get upset sometimes, that does not last long though, I do cry I can admit that no point in hiding it... but over all I am a very compassionate person and I tend to put others happiness before mine. I am happy when others are happy... I also try to be nice to everyone, I do not talk about people behind their back.

I worked at the Lycoming County SPCA for 6 years rescuing many animals. I saw way more suffering and death than I ever cared to see... I also went down to help rescue animals after Hurrican Katrina with the HSUS. I can't say I would ever work for a place like this again, but I would never undo those 6 years.

I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's Disease, which is an Autoimmune disease where my body sees my Thyroid as the enemy and attacks it. This lead to cancer and I had my Thyroid removed in March of 2013, unfortunately Once they got in there they realized the cancer was a lot worse then they thought, and my Parathyroid glands (these control your bodies ability to process calcium) were cancerous as well and had to be removed... After a 9 hour surgery I now need to be on multiple medications to be alive... Then I ended up going through 2 Radio Active Iodine Treatment to try and kill off what cancer remained, I do not wish that on anyone as it makes you sick for weeks... I had another surgery to remove a lump in my arm pit in June 2013 for fear it was more cancer, it turned out to not be cancer... Then in December 2013 I was told I was "cancer free"... Great A year of hell I came out alive Lets move on with my life... A few months later I went to another doctor for something else and they wanted to also just look at my neck and just see whats all going on... I had an ultrasound and blood work done and they found more cancer... So a few months go by and more tests... Finally they wanted to go in and remove the cancer... In July 2014 I had another surgery where they went in and removed 17 Lymph nodes 8 of which were cancerous and 3 were the size of plums... Unfortunately with everything they removed I developed a complication that left me at the possibility of dying... I lost 15 pound in a matter of days, and the doctors wanted to do another surgery to try to fix it which did not work... so basically I had to hope this complication would heal on its own before I died... and Seeing as I am writing this now I healed and did not die... :)

I just want to say with me what you see is what you get... I have no hidden agenda, I do not pretend to be someone I am not just because I think you might like me better... I am me... and if you are still reading this you should message me, ask questions I will not hide anything, Take a chance I do not bite....
