My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm an upbeat person who enjoys the humor in life. I am looking for someone who I can be silly with, someone who I can share everyday adventures with, but someone who also will have my back when life's bullets start flying.

I'm independent and self-sufficient, but I make time for my family and friends, who are very important to me and are the number one and two priorities in my life.

I like keeping my life in perspective and try not to take myself too seriously. I will be the first one to blurt out laughing at a good joke or to chuckle at my own mistakes.

I'm also an attorney. Don't run! I promise I'm not the evil kind. I do work for a law firm and big clients, but sneak in a few hundred hours each year of fighting the good fight by doing pro bono work for those who are most in need of legal assistance but lack the resources for it. I also actually enjoy what I do, and many people I work with have commented on my unusually cheery disposition for being *gasp* an attorney.

Communication and compromise in relationships are very important to me. I do not pick fights, do not enjoy arguing, and believe that frank, open-minded discussions are much more productive than yelling, blame-shifting, or jumping to conclusions. I am honest, loyal, and without drama. I'm looking for a guy who feels the same.

P.S. If you aren't smiling or laughing in most of your photos, we probably wouldn't get along. ;)
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Onward and upward!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Making up lyrics when singing songs I only kinda, sorta know. My three-year old niece's favorite is "Mary had a little piggy that went to the market."

I'm usually smiling about a joke told to me days ago!

Wait, what's the character limit again? I love "food"--all kinds, whether the schmancy pizza at Pizzeria Mozza or the slow-cooked, birria soft tacos at food trucks. As for shows, I love shows that I can watch time and time again: Dexter, Arrested Development, Firefly, Parks and Rec, 30 Rock, the League, West Wing, Community. I don't have cable/HBO/Showtime etc. because I generally prefer to be out and about. Also, I'm a big news buff and am constantly shifting between reading local, national, and international news articles during the course of the day.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. Sunday mornings
2. on my balcony
3. overlooking a lazy one-way street
4. with the sun yawning in the distance
5. having a cup of tea
6. and thinking about nothing at all
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
World Peace.

Whether hummus on a bagel presents deep ethnic and religious conflicts or constitutes a yummy, nutritious treat.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Sharing cold brewskies with friends
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I cried when Bambi's mother died ... and again, when Simba's father died ... and again, when Nemo's mother died. I can't help it, I'm not made of stone!
