I'm currently finishing my pre-medical certificate while working "in the field", filling my nostrils with the smell of blood and fingers nails with the sticky remnants of Scotchcast.

It has truly changed my life, and been the ultimate exercise in Mindfulness. I think really hard about it. Harder than a lot of people do. I guess I'm not your typical scrub-clad waitress. Profound realizations, encounters with life and death, the fragility of the body and resilience of the psyche.... I'd love to tell you more about, it just not on a dating website.

My realistic goal is to eventually work in neuropsychiatry.

My less-realistic goal is writing something people will actually want to read. Right now I am working on illustrated prose.

And if none of that works out, I'm pretty open to driving across the country giving haircuts and playing folk songs on guitar until I find the place where I belong.
