Mostly non-fiction pertaining to:
Space, evolution, history, biology, comedy, bios -- whatever piques
my curiosity. Anything from the ancient greeks to Nietzsche,
Dawkins, Hitchens, Sagan, et al.
Dostoevsky, Tolstoy, Hesse, Twain, Chekhov, Poe, Vonnegut, and some
As far as movies, I am currently working on the imdb top 250 list.
Of course the classics such as Citizen Kane, Rear Window, 12 Angry
Men, Spaghetti Westerns, etc. can never die! Recent good ones I've
seen: Django Unchained, the Hobbit. Anything from obscure german
films to japanese animation -- whatever can hold my attention,
TV is hit or miss with me, the truth is that I don't watch much. I
like futurama, the simpsons, king of the hill, bob's burgers, the
office, parks and rec, the walking dead, jeopardy and market
warriors, among select others. I'm willing to give anything a
Music... well, I could write a damned novel here. Beethoven,
Tchaikovsky, Chopin, Mozart, Wagner, Zeppelin, Sabbath, Johnny
Cash, the Doors, Simon and Garfunkel, anything Dave Grohl touches,
Nirvana, Pearl Jam, The Pixies, White Stripes, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs,
Weezer, the Black Keys, (yes in that order!) it goes on and on and
on -- and last, certainly least on this list, my own. I have music
on most of the time, and if it's not playing, I'm playing!
Food. I live for food, simply put. I try to do cook within my
means, but I sometimes get a notion that I'm a gourmet chef and
cook super lavish meals. Other times I'm lazy and I order Chinese.
Unfortunately, there is rarely a medium here!
