My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
this section is so weird. i like getting to know people face to face instead of reading a synopsis of their life story. so here's some random bits about me you can use as an ice breaker or a convenient way to filter me out of the hundreds of messages you probably get everyday.

i'm extremely happy with my life and don't need someone. nor am i looking for someone who needs me. let's enjoy our time together and our time apart.

or, as i put it at brunch with a friend. "i'm looking for someone where i can say 'i like you, you like me. let's agree to like each other for a while'.

i dress up for comic con in san diego. i've been link, deadpool, and cloud strife. yes i have pictures. someday i'll put them up on this profile :-)

i like brownies, chocolate chip cookies, and snicker doodles. but not at the same time. in that order. though tomorrow the order might change.

when i go to restaurants, i like to give my name as "The Doctor" to the host/hostess...

i'm developing two dating website pet peeves as well.

1) please have a profile pic without a gaggle of girls around you. i like playing where's waldo just not on a dating site.

2) write something in your profile! i can't write you a message if you don't give me something to start with. :-)
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
running a web development and game design business. it's lots of fun but mainly because everyone who works for me is smarter than me.

practicing senseless acts of random kindness or random acts of senseless kindness. either way.

trying to learn guitar using the rocksmith game on my ps3.

random home improvement projects. every project is (n^3)(x) trips to the hardware store where n represents the initial perceived complexity of the project and x is how much time i thought it would take.

hanging out with a bunch of drinkers with a running problem.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
using my imagination, making people laugh, and proving gravity works, observational humor.

i'm a really good cook. i like to eat. i'm a weird sort of picky eater. i'll eat just about anything but, if i'm paying for it at a restaurant, it will be something i really like. so i tend to order and ask for them to leave out some things. that said, there are a few things i despise: mushrooms. liver. olives. i also love finding hole in the wall places!
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1 - good friends
2 - a stove/oven
3 - alone time
4 - sexy time* <----- you have to read this with an indian accent.
5 - exploring new places, ideas, etc.
6 - books

*also important to note that items 4 and 3 are preferably not combined on a regular basis.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
just recently i was thinking that if one owned a 7-11, you could really increase profits by opening a medicinal marijuana dispensary next door. i don't smoke but it seems like easy money.

oh and new ideas for games and how to make them fun; board games, card games, video games, anything that involves playing. i'm a big kid at heart.

when i'll have enough free time to spend two months in new zealand and australia. cause hobbit holes and beaches.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
busy being awesome. friday's are strictly for being awesome.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
if i messaged you, i probably looked at your profile pics before reading your bio.

and i have maids clean my house every two weeks.

and i just farted.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
you laughed at the earlier fart joke.

you want to dance! i took lessons to learn salsa, bachata, swing, west coast swing, and a few others :-)

you want to travel with me!

you like monty python and douglas adams!

you like the idea of spending a weekend watching doctor who, archer, the extended edition of lord of the rings, playing video / board games, going on a spontaneous road trip, or running around in the woods naked.

bonus points if you know how to roll up a d&d character!
