My biggest passions are learning and exploring the world, as well as spending time in nature and staying as active as possible. I generally prefer having a few close friends versus many fair weather ones, and I'm usually the one in a group who comes up with a non sequitur or random observation that cracks everyone up.

At any given time I may be found playing piano, hiking, practicing yoga, listening to live music, swing dancing, swimming, reading, (re)discovering art, watching movies, playing board games, or sketching. I enjoy cooking and occasionally experiment to create new dishes.

I've been to several countries as well as a few different states, and am looking forward to visiting many more places.

If I had to guess, probably my smile and soft-spoken manner. I've been told I'm a good listener and people seem comfortable sharing things with me.

These tend to change pretty often, and it's more fun to talk about them in person anyway.

However, some of my favorite local places are Balboa park, Torrey Pines, and virtually any nature trail. I like finding new hole in the wall cafes/restaurants.

Some other things I like: petrichor, crepuscular rays, didgeridoos, discovering new music I like, sketching/painting, peanut butter, and that feeling of tranquility while spending time in nature.
