I am talented, motivated, and thoughtful.

My Self-Summary

I'm super easy going and like people who are the same. I'm passionate and caring, perhaps to a fault. I enjoy rockin' out, music festivals, and theatre. I love to play and be silly, but I can be serious and love to have intellectual conversation and debate.

I suppose I am liberal having been told after I moved back east from the west coast that I was in some "west coast bubble." I am having fun readjusting to the South. The glorious South.

I change a lot. I suppose I am a bit of a vagabond. Perhaps a chameleon. I like to surround myself with people who I feel add something to my life... so I choose friends that are all very different.

What I’m doing with my life

I'm nearing the completion of my AAB. Upon finishing those credits I'll focus on my BS/Marketing.

I decided to forego the theatre major and get a real job. I figure I can get some of my creativity out in the marketing world. I hope to one day own my own pastry shop. I'd like to make things that are beautiful, delicious, and not terrible for you.

I am a full-time student seeking employment in Jacksonville. I have recently relocated from Seattle, WA where I spent a lot of time inside and became oddly introverted. Almost hermited. I'm not sure how that happened!

I’m really good at

Making people laugh, performing (all sorts!), singing at the top of my lungs in the car when no one is around, bowling badly, cooking things from boxes, pressing buttons to make machines work.

Decorating pastries and cakes.

Understanding your point of view.

Wordplay.

The first things people usually notice about me

My sense of humor, my smile, my eyes, my crazy collarbones, and probably something about what I'm wearing, cause I'm a little silly.

I've recently been told that my butt gets me noticed. I was stalked around the grocery store.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books: Anything by John Irving, also really enjoyed Trainspotting, and The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime.
Movies: Uhnnm... way too many to choose from. I love High Fidelity, Office Space, Dogma, The Truth About Cats & Dogs, Secretary, A Clockwork Orange, Holy Grail, Star Wars, 80's Brat Pack bullshit, Romantic Comedies, Shakespeare adaptations, artsy fartsy foreign stuff, horror flicks, etc., etc., etc.
Music: www.WOXY.com Everyone needs to join! My Favorite band is Death Cab for Cutie, really like The Bravery, Franz Ferdinand, The Killers, The Pixies, Dandy Warhols, VHS or Beta, Cake, BILLY IDOL, Razorlight, Embrace, Aqualung, Doves, Oasis, Interpol, Chevelle, System of a Down, Bloc Party, Kaiser Chiefs, Belle & Sebastian, The Postal Service, Snow Patrol, 80's Hair Bands, oh gee.. just a whole lot of stuff excepting hardcore rap and a lot of country.
Food: Anything tasty, really, I'm into trying a bit of everything... as long as it doesn't have a really fishy/foul smell or bad texture.

I honestly do not care if anyone enjoys the same things as I do. I would rather not talk all night about my favorite band in the world! I would rather hear about a cool new band or have my music library expanded by a good friend.

As far as movies go - I've seen a lot. I love a lot. However, I am absolutely terrible at memorizing movie quotes and spouting them off randomly. I am not the type of person who will sit and watch a movie 10x. I usually watch something once or twice my whole LIFE.

I'd love to update this, but I just have no desire. I liked those things, and still like those things, but I don't feel like erasing it and starting over... simply for the fact that I now hate making lists like it.

The six things I could never do without

1. GOOGLE
2. Opportunities to learn
3. Sex
4. Laughing
5. Sunlight
6. Love

I spend a lot of time thinking about

My future and what is coming along next.

Who I am going to spend the rest of my life with.

How my kitty cat is doing up in Seattle.

The perfect business venture.

On a typical Friday night I am

Looking for something fun and interesting to do! I love to explore new places.

I like crowded places, intimate places, dives, and places that are up their own ass. I like to meet all sorts of different people.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I want to love again. I want someone to love ME again. Not for any sort of feeling "complete" or some romantic bullshit like that, but because it just feels GOOD. I don't know if I'm looking for everlasting love... well, at the moment at least. Of course I want that earth-shattering, knee-bending love that breaks you apart and rebuilds you again... but I can wait for it.

You should message me if

You're funny and open to exploring the world.

You are not going to tell me how much you adore DCFC.

You are not going to hit on me unapologetically while you discuss your wife and children.

You understand sarcasm and have a tolerance for a poison tongue.
