Just got out of a relationship, and I'm just looking to meet someone new to hang out and have fun.

I'm into music and art, and I like to just hang out, go to concerts/local shows, find something to do with someone fun. I'm one to pay attention to the little details, and I appreciate everything (just about :P) despite faults or mistakes for the beauty that is within everything.

I can be really shy at first, but it tends to go away as I get more and more comfortable with someone. I love to make music, have long conversations, piña coladas, getting caught in the rain... LOL I think you get the picture.

At the moment, I'm just working and keeping myself busy, getting as ready as I can to follow my passions and work in the music industry.

I'm really just trying to meet new people - most everyone I talked to has gone off to college away from home, and I miss the social interaction.

I absolutely love music - I play guitar and I'm learning how to record on my own. I've also been told I'm a good writer, and I've been trying to keep a little book of poems, observations, and free-association. I think about all sorts of things and sometimes get so tied-up that I need to look at things from a different perspective to better understand. I've also been told I'm a good cuddler ;P

Hmmm... well I guess I wouldn't really know - I'm usually in my own little world. LOL But I'd have to say maybe that's one of the things people notice - I try to go against the flow. I'm usually off by myself or with a small group.
Physically, I think what people notice first are my thick-rimmed glasses - they've become a part of my image (if you really could say I have much of an image LOL), as well as my sideburns.

I don't really read much - not that I don't like it, I just find myself often doing other things. I'm a fan of Edgar Allan Poe, HP Lovecraft, Pablo Neruda - I'm more into poems than I am novels. Poems can be short and sweet but can often be interpreted in so many different ways. l also like reading about the paranormal, alternative religions, weird stuff. LOL

I LOVE movies. My favorite movies include Edward Scissorhands, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, stuff like that. I also really like comedies - anything with Jim Carrey, Steve Carrell or Adam Sandler is an instant classic for me (YES, even "Little Nicky" LOL) I also like horror movies, sci-fi, dramas, indie films, porn ;).... LOL And yes, I can stand the occasional chick flick.

I listen to music that can only be described as "alternative" - everything from hard-rock to post-rock to shoegaze - I listen to the Smashing Pumpkins, Incubus, Bush, HUM, Silversun Pickups, My Bloody Valentine - I also listen to alot of heavier music - Chevelle, Megadeth, Iron Maiden - I listen to a little bit of everything in the rock genre, except screamo, really.

I also love food - I love Italian food, southern-style cooking, Spanish food - I'm always open to try new foods from different cultures.

Everything - I'm always thinking about something, and I'm usually drifting off in my head - often times I'm trying to pick out little details and figure out how they contribute to the whole - whether it be with music, art, food, or people. I love thinking about WHY something works the way it does. I'm very analytical but I'm not judgemental (I hope that makes sense LOL) I like to pick out the little details, including flaws and anamolies but I like to think of them more as what makes something unique rather than something that needs to be done away with and changed.

Sitting on the computer, or watching TV. And honestly, I hate it - I want to change that and get out there and have fun and try new things. Wanna come with? lol
