My self-summary
Question real quick: does it post for everyone to see each and every time I edit my profile? cause that's a little embarrassing if it does lmao i tend to like to reword shit or add shit. Hell, I don't care, at least I get myself out there if it does XD

I live w/ some friends, I love video games, hanging out w/ friends, partying, and girls. i am a bit shy in person, i hide it pretty well online, but either way that shyness is pretty short-lived. i am a hopeless romantic. i'm extremely inhibited too, sad to say i'm slow at making the first move because of it. just get a drink or two in me lol but after that first move, i'm usually alot more...open i guess, for lack of a better word at the moment. i'm here for a good relationship.

I am pagan, in the sense that i believe everyone has the ability to improve their lives themselves, through chakra-cleansing, meditation, becoming more in-tune with your sub-conscious, you name it, without the help of a god that may or may not exist, that the mind is more powerful than most people believe (ever heard of placebos?). I'm not all that serious about it, just having fun with it. By no means does that mean i judge other's beliefs. If it works for you, who am i to say it's wrong? The only reason I would have a problem is if you try to push it on to me. "You need Jesus in your life, son." No, what I need is people to mind their own damn business. I've gotten by for 23 years just fine without your god, thank you very much. One thing I hate more than anything is closed-minded people wanting everybody to be just like them. Do me a favor, listen to John Lennon's "Imagine" (personally, I prefer A Perfect Circle's remake). Makes sense, doesn't it?

That being said, I'm a very open-minded person, I don't judge a book by it's cover, I don't judge people by their religion or other beliefs, and I don't judge people by (most) of their choices (murder, rape, child and/or animal abuse, etc I do judge).

Favorite Book Quotes:
"I've watched two-year-old humans with interest for centuries. They're miserable. They rush about, fall down, and scream almost constantly. They hate being human! They know already that it's some sort of dirty trick."
-- Lestat de Lioncourt, "The Tale of the Body Thief" by Anne Rice

This next ones a long one:
"The Dark is generous.
Its first gift is concealment: our true faces lie in the dark beneath our skins, our true hearts remain shadowed deeper still. But the greatest concealment lies not in protecting our secret truths, but in hiding from us the truths of others.

The dark protects us from what we dare not know.

Its second gift is comforting illusion: the ease of gentle dreams in night's embrace, the beauty that imagination brings to what would repel in day's harsh light. But the greatest of its comforts is the illusion that the dark is temporary: that every night brings a new day. Because it is day that is temporary.

Day is the illusion.

Its third gift is the light itself: as days are defined by the nights that divide them, as stars are defined by the infinite black through which they wheel, the dark embraces the light, and brings it forth from the center of its own self.

With each victory of the light, it is the dark that wins.

The Dark is generous, and it is patient.

It is the dark that seeds cruelty into justice, that drips contempt into compassion, that poisons love with grains of doubt.

The dark can be patient, because the slightest drop of rain will cause those seeds to sprout.

The rain will come, and the seeds will sprout, for the dark is the soil in which they grow, and it is the clouds above them, and it waits behind the star that gives them light.

The Dark's patience is infinite.

Eventually, even stars burn out.

The Dark is generous, and it is patient, and it always wins.

It always wins because it is everywhere.

It is in the wood that burns in your hearth, and in the kettle on the fire; it is under your chair and under your table and under the sheets on your bed. Walk in the midday sun and the dark is with you, attached to your feet.

The brightest light casts the darkest shadow.

The Dark is generous, and it is patient, and it always wins--but in the heart of its strength lies weakness: one lone candle is enough to hold it back.

Love is more than a candle. Love can ignite the stars."
-- Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith, the novel by Matthew Stover

On a typical Friday night I am
drinking with roommates...could use some girls over here
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
my name is Greg and i am cursed. let me give you a little history. just yesterday (3/6/13) i went for a drink with a pretty girl and everything was going good until she gets a text from a guy friend having car trouble. she leaves to help him out. next day they're dating...

last date before that, this next girl and i are talking for 3 hours straight, and in passing she tells me she just ended a relationship. next morning she tells me its too soon for her to be dating again...

date before that, i'm at this girls house, we're hanging out, having a good time, and it comes time for me to leave. next few days go by we're texting a bit, and then one day she tells me she met with a guy she's had a crush on forever...

this shit has been going on for 3 fucking years, girls meeting old friends and falling for 'em, realizing they're still in love with an ex, or on one occasion a girl was talking to someone else at the same time and they fell in love, among many other happenstances...ever since my longest relationship ended (2 and a half years)...and she was pagan...but i'm not giving up yet. love is the one and only thing i long for...no matter how badly it hurts sometimes, i'm not giving up
