My self-summary
Currently, attending Columbia for a game design degree. Once I have my degree I plan on starting a studio; Hopefully, within a few years of graduation.

With the field requiring substantial time commitment I do not work that often; but, on occasion I do work at Park West a couple weekends a month.

I also have received a previous degree from The University of Denver in philosophy. It's good for foundational knowledge, but isn't the most practical. It has proved a huge boon for further academic attainment, though.

When I have time with all of the studying, I attend the gym a few days a week. I've managed to keep myself in decent shape with that and walking pretty much everywhere.

I'm just looking for someone to hang out with on occasion, and if more comes from it so be it.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm attending Columbia, and should have a game out within the next few years. Releasing personal projects might wait, until I have more experience with development cycles. At the very least, I'll be employed by one of the major game developer studios, in two years.
I’m really good at
A bit of a natural at programming. Something about the strict syntax removing ambiguity makes it easy to pick up quickly. Of course, road blocks are still hit with the sheer vastness of existing code libraries.
The first things people usually notice about me
I have a way with computers. Not to the point of being a computer nerd, but a few rungs below that. I don't know why they pick this up, guess it's how I carry myself, but usually that assumption is made.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Where advancements with technology will take us. I keep my fingers crossed that technological change continues at an exponential rate.
On a typical Friday night I am
If I'm not working on personal projects/class assignments, I'm either out at a bar, visiting a music venue, or seeing some movie.
Sometimes, it's all three at once.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I've taken a few long term canoe trips. Being away from daily responsibilities, really helps with reflecting on the present and planning the future. Other than that, being able to partake in activities according to biological clocks, in place of an agreed upon time, is rather freeing.
