My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Baker, musician, lover and wrangler of dogs, cocktail nerd. Queer lady looking for people to spend time with.

I'm an auto didact because I never learned anything in school that I couldn't get from the library. I've read a lot of books on a lot of subjects so I may or may not be able to chat with you about your profession/interests/philosophy but even if I don't know what I'm talking about I'll try to make it interesting.

I do have a primary partner, allofthethings_ in case you're wondering. We seriously dig each other but aren't in to inhibiting our interactions with others and so here I am.
I'm interested in meeting anyone who wants to operate outside of the norm with me. If that means we're friends who talk about gender politics and dogs or we're friends who sometimes get naked and roll around together (and talk about gender politics and dogs) I'll be happy.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
On a hiatus from animal rescue career to sling coffee and cocktails in Red Hook.

Trying to plan fundraisers for animal rescue, any suggestions?

I go between phases of reading too much and never leaving my apartment and not being able to be there for more than 10 minutes at a time. I have a hard time finding a good balance between the two.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Working with animals.

Making a fool of myself (e.g. singing songs to inanimate objects and doing jigs while working).

Stress reading. Seriously, when I'm stressed I'll go through a book a day.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I don't know why but I get stopped to give directions all the time. Maybe I look like I know where I'm going.

I should probably change this as ever since I got an undercut people have stopped asking me for directions so....maybe undercut?

UPDATE: People have started asking me for directions again, a little uncertain as to what that means but this has turned in to a bit of a social experiment, perhaps more updates to come.

Whether or not the fact that I'm unwilling to give up meat despite my work with animals is morally reprehensible.

The gender binary, feminism, kink, desire vs reality, the list goes on.

Polyamory/consensual nonmonogamy/open relationships and all that jazz.

What elaborate meal am I going to cook next using as many 'sustainable' ingredients as is humanly possible. (Yes, I'm one of those people)
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I'm just as likely to be getting stoned with my man watching TV on the couch as I am to be going to whatever raucous show seems appealing that week.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I am fairly convinced that this profile is not in any way a good representation of who I am.
