Single Jewish Guy ready to take home. Comes with good job, a sense
of humor about himself, above average height in comparison to other
Jewish guys, has good friends, owns his own place, loves to travel,
and has a Jewish mom that is 1500 miles away! Really, I'm a
down-to-earth, honest guy who grew up in the South and decided to
come out here for school and never left. I'm definitely the planner
of the group. I like to scope out the new bars and restaurants in
LA Magazine and read the Yelp reviews. I like those weekly updates
you get from Goldstar.com and Blackboardeats.com to get good deals
on new things around town. I have yet to get a good Groupon deal,
but I did go fishing in Newport off of Livingsocial.com deal once.
I recently had a great time seeing Raphael Saadiq at the Annenberg
Museum of Photography and Norah Jones at the Hollywood Bowl. I get
caught up in a good football or basketball game, even if I'm not
rooting for either team. I like hiking and dancing. I also love to
travel, spur-of-the-moment day trips or planned in advance. Recent
trips have been to Hawaii and Seattle, with an upcoming trip home
to Memphis to look forward to.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I spent the last 11 years working in Home Entertainment at a film
studio and recently moved into what can only be described as
something I have to explain to my parents over and over again.
Either way, it's at the same studio. It's important for you to
know, though, that I'm not a standard LA film guy. I really am
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Listening. Trust me, I can interject with something funny and add
to the conversation, but I love to hear what people have to say.

I like to be around large groups of friends, chill outside in
nature, and travel. Oh, and I love food, whether it be making it or
going out to a new place I've never been.

I love anything by Michael Lewis and Jon Krakauer. Recently read
Ben Mezrich's "The Accidental Billionaires." What a great read. For
TV, so sad the Olympics are over. During the regular season, How I
Met Your Mother, Fringe, 30 Rock, Top Gear. My DVR is going to
self-destruct. For music, Pink Floyd, Eagles, Allman Brothers, Eric
Clapton, Marvin Gaye, Otis Redding, and Sam Cooke. For food, Mozza,
Craft, Fig and Olive, and Red O, but I'm always up for something
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My family, my friends, my memories, my weekends/vacation days, my
iPhone (for the music more so than for the phone now-a-day's), and
my car (it is LA).
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What my life will be like when I meet Miss Right.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Hopefully getting together with friends for a drink or for dinner.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

I do have a Jewish nose. It's not quite like Steve Martin in
Roxanne... In spite of living in LA, though, I will never change
it. It lets people know when I'm rounding a corner.
