My self-summary
I've returned to Canberra after a couple of trips up the faraway tree, and I'm making a point of rediscovering all the good that this little city has to offer. Canberra can be a little cliquey, but there are some amazing people here and it's easy to make some great times. Music, theatre, galleries, frisbee, folk festivals... and, hey, Cube's open pretty late.

I have a passion for exploring, getting to know new places, cultures and people. I spent a crazy year in Santiago de Chile, acting, trying new things, making life-long friends, and just loving life. It's so great to get to know a place, staying for a bit longer, and really getting involved with people. I've recently been daydreaming about spending a couple of years in SE Asia / Eastern Europe.

People be the most important thing. Making a new connection, finding out about what drives someone, their passions, their history... Just about everyone I've ever met has had something to teach me, a story to tell, or a hug to give. So, if you happen to be a people, get in touch and let's hang some.
What I’m doing with my life
Recycling! I spent a few years with the ACT Gov helping to develop the local recycling industry and finding new markets for recycled materials. I've recently moved over to the feds, helping find national solutions to these issues such as ensuring companies take responsibility for the products they create. We've already provided free television and computer recycling across Australia, and have a a list of plenty more products ready to go.

I'm a pragmatic environmentalist. Conspicuous environmental problems, such as plastic bags, can be an easy (or token) focus point for us tree-huggers, but sometimes the best outcomes are not so sexy. One of the best changes I've made is ensuring that all of of Canberra's street sweepings are composted. You'd be amazed at how much this leafy city generates. We're going to have to find improvements in unexpected places if we're going to have a sustainable future.
I’m really good at
Push passes.

If you notice this notice, you'll notice this notice is not worth noticing.

The six things I could never do without
People, Love, Music, Afternoon naps, Good food, New experiences.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The world, and the people on it.
On a typical Friday night I am
Typical may not be the best word... but probably around some lovely people, probably with a beverage, probably moving my feet.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Sometimes I trawl through OKC accounts just looking for new bands to listen to.
I’m looking for
  • Girls who like guys
  • Ages 24–35
  • Near me
  • For new friends, short-term dating
You should message me if
You want to chat, if you want someone new to hang with, if you give a fuck about an Oxford comma, or if you just want to.

I'm mainly here to meet people I can hang with in person, but happy to make new pen pals as well.

By the way, I'd be super happy to meet some guys to chill with as well. It's just that OKC gets all kooky when I set my profile to 'looking for: everybody'.
