My self-summary
I'm pretty busy these days, but when I'm not studying I hang out with friends and play board games or watch DVDs. I like to be active, so I play racket sports with my family and I've taken up snowboarding. I enjoy cycling and rock climbing, but the weather has been pretty lousy recently and I haven't made time for climbing for a while.

I'm creative, and fascinated by the way things work. If you find me staring thoughtfully at something I'm probably trying to figure out how it was made.

I'm honest. To the point where I sometimes offend people.

I'm easy going, I'll try anything once and I'm up for pretty much anything.
What I’m doing with my life
I worked shifts in a factory for a pharmaceutical company for over 5 years, before I realised my life was just passing me by. It was only meant to be a stop gap to earn some money while I figured out what I wanted to do as a career, but I got a bit complacent.

I now study 'Model Design and Special Effects' at the University of Hertfordshire and love every minute of it. It's pretty intensive, we get given a brief to work to and a deadline, the rest is up to us. I like to challenge myself and create really complicated projects. So I spend 10+ hours a day in the studio and still don't complete them on time. :|
I hope to be making props for the film and television industry and I've got some work experience coming up at Shepperton studios working on an upcoming Marvel film.

I work part time at a Thai restaurant in order to cover my mortgage and other bills and on a Wednesday night I help to run the university's Film Society.
I’m really good at
Procrastinating!

Anything that requires a dexterous pair of hands or a logical mind.
The first things people usually notice about me
That I'm really laid back.

Most people tend to think I'm a bit weird.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: I'm trying to get back into reading and out of the habit of getting so hooked that I do nothing but read until the book is finished. Recently I just read A Fault With Our Stars and re-read The Hobbit. I've just bought The Night Circus after several recommendations and past favourites have been:
The Time Traveller's Wife, The Magician, The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy, Map Of Bones, The Drenai Tales.

Movies: Hot Fuzz, Fight Club, The Fifth Element, Labyrinth, Legend, Mallrats, The Matrix, Pirates of the Carribean, The Princess Bride, Robin Hood Prince of Thieves, Serenity, Stardust, lots of Disney films, anything by Pixar, Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind, V For Vendetta and loads, loads, more.

Music: I've got a pretty eclectic taste in music and listen to all kinds of random stuff, but past favourites are:
Alkaline Trio, Mumford & Sons, Alanis Morissette, Blink 182, Biffy Clyro, Guns N' Roses, Jimmy Eat World, Linkin Park, Papa Roach, Pixies, Tenacious D.

Food: I love food so much, sometimes I can be a little bit picky, but I eat just about anything except seafood. When I eat, I eat enough for 4!
I love Mexican food, Pizza, Indian food, Thai and just about any dessert. I love chocolate, and cake, and sweets. I'm quite hungry now...
The six things I could never do without
My friends,
My family,
Laughter,
My eyesight,
My hands,
Chocolate!
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Everything and anything, I've always been a bit of a dreamer.

How things work, or their construction.
On a typical Friday night I am
Working. However if I have the energy, I'll meet up with friends after at the pub or round someone's house. Whatever's going on.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I have a tendency to cry like a baby during emotional films or books.

I don't know how to make the first move.
